Solitary Islands Way, Sandy Beach - 116400-21NSW-RTR
The road pavement of Solitary Islands Way, between Johnsons Road and Diamond Head Drive has extensively failed as a result of prolonged wet weather during the months of February to April. The works proposed is to renew approximately 4420m2 of the existing pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $406,249
Combine Street - 116398-21NSW-RTR
The existing 4-way intersection has been subject to various vehicular collisions over time as a result of the 'give way' arrangements being contrary to the predominant traffic flow.It is proposed to construct a concrete roundabout with a concrete pavement at the intersection of Combine Street and Azalea Avenue. The works include service relocations - power, telecommunications, water and drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $918,374
Duthy Street (Unley) - 116379-21SA-RTR
The road requires pavement reconstruction (deeplift reseal) due to its failed pavement and surface, as well as re-kerbing both sides where tree roots have lifted and causes failure in the kerb. The road is a critical commuter and tourism route vital to the area. The road surface suffers from heavy rutting. The road is in an 50km hour zone and has a large amount of interaction between commuter vehicles, tourism traffic, public transport buses, cyclists and pedestrians. The proposed works will not only renew the road assets to a sound condition, but will create a safer environment for all users. The work proposed includes re-kerbing both sides of the road, as most of the kerbing is in poor condition which causes surface water to pool, contributing to the pavement and surface failures. These kerbing works will alleviate the water pooling issues currently and will also assist in creating a safer environment for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. Therefore, proposed works will be new kerbing both sides of the road (including better crossing access points), followed by a deeplift reseal of the road surface (including dedicated bike lanes)Total cost of proposed project is $766,000
Kulkami Road (Rural Road) - 116378-21SA-RTR
The road is currently a sealed road requiring full pavement reconstruction to shoulders due to its narrow width, failed pavement and poor road and shoulder drainage. The road is a significant freight route which is vital to the area. The road surface suffers from heavy rutting and poor drainage. The road has a large amount of interaction between heavy vehicles and commuter vehicles with the widening of the road and shoulders improving safety. The proposed works includes widening and reconstructing 16km of road shoulder to Kulkami Road and will consist of new pavement incorporating crushed rock base coarse to a depth of 300mm and a 2 coat bitumen spray seal . There will be an increase to the sealed width of Kulkami Road from 6 meters to 7.2 meters with a 1 meter unsealed shoulder giving an overall carriageway width of 9.2 meters.Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
Smith Avenue, Allambie Heights - 116401-21NSW-RTR
Road pavement is distressed with cracks, potholes and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Booralie Road, Duffys Forest - 116404-21NSW-RTR
Road pavement is distressed with cracks, potholes and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Alexander Avenue (Playford) - 116377-21SA-RTR
The current road surface suffers from cracking, stripping of the seal, drainage issues, poor vertical alignment with sight distance issues, poor line marking delineation and signage that is not representative to the road alignment and poor reflectivity. Alexander Avenue is sign posted 80 km/h, and have approximately 1000 vehicles/day with 4% commercial vehicles. The widening of Alexander Avenue, shoulders, new line marking and signage upgrade will improve the safety of this road section. The work proposed includes widening and reconstructing of the 3320m road length of Alexander Avenue with a new pavement, seal, increased shoulder width, new ling marking and signage. At completion of the works, the sealed section will be increased from 6.0 m to 7.0m. The existing unformalised shoulder will be formalised (well compacted) at a width of 1.0 m each side.Total cost of proposed project is $2,209,000
