Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Narrow, broken shoulder sealed pavement and current seal at end of useful life.Provide pavement material into shoulder area, trim and seal this shoulder zone, place a full width reseal over full width of sealed pavement area.
Berthong Road ( Rural Road) - 103595-19NSW-RTR
Broken sealed edged and narrow sealed pavement.Provide shoulder pavement and new widening shoulder seal to provide a sealed width of 7 metres.
Great Central (Rural Road) - 103507-19WA-RTR
Very rough / rocky section that lacks gravel with increasing traffic volumesReconstruct pavement and gravel sheet for length of 11 kms and width of 10m with drainage
Seven Day Road (rural road) - 103605-19WA-RTR
Various sections of the existing road have significant rutting and/or surface failures causing a very uneven road surface. Other sections of the sealed surface have cracking.Import gravel to add 50 milimetre of material over four sections of the road, undertake cement stabilisation and reform those sections with a 2 percent crossfall. Apply a two coat spray seal to these sections and a single coat spray seal to the sections of road that were not reformed. Replace centre and edge line marking.
McLeod Road (rural Road) - 103604-19WA-RTR
Current Seal width is only a type 4 standard, current seal is cracking and failingWiden McLeod road to a type 5 and address failuresTotal cost of proposed project is $499,000
Perup Road (rural road) - 103603-19WA-RTR
The existing seal is in poor condition with a lot of cracking and edge breaks.Where required, repair cracks and edge breaks and place a spray seal over the existing surface.
North Walpole Road (rural road) - 103602-19WA-RTR
The existing road has significant rutting, has many edge breaks due to the narrow sealed width, potholes form regularly and cross falls are incorrect in a number of locations.Remove vegetation that is within the required pavement construction width. Reconstruct the road so that the pavement width is 8 metres and the sealed width is 6 metres. Replace failing storm water culvert. Place a new seal and guideposts as required.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
