Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rajah Street Leonora - 060174-15WA-RTR
Road shoulders currently wash out each year presenting unsafe drop off on both sides of roads. Emergency services (for Royal Flying Doctor Service transfers etc) and other vehicles utilise this road frequently.Reconstruction and widening to existing seal, including kerbing works and rock armour along both shoulders
Sir Hudson Fysh Drive, Cloncurry - 060175-15QLD-RTR
The final 500m of Sir Hudson Fysh Drive (commencing 3.614km from the intersection of Alice Street and Sir Hudson Fysh Drive and Alice Street)the section is bitumen sealed with a 10m width and provides motorists with the only access to the Cloncurry Airport. Due to the lack of drainage and consistent traffic, this section of road requires upgrades to road width and surface as well as existing drainage infrastructure.Upgrading/rehabilitation of 500m of Sir Hudson Fysh Drive - works to include road widening, resurfacing and restoration/rehabilitation to existing culverts and drainage infrastructure. Works will consist of an improved drainage system to suit this section of road (with additional culverts or replacement/upgrade to existing culverts if required)and associated infrastructure.Total cost of proposed project is $913,601
Swanson Avenue, Gilles Plains - 060176-15SA-RTR
Various pavement failure due to environmental and age. Longitudinal cracking and potholes were observed. Severe undulation of surface and broken kerb and gutter were also present.Full reconstruction of road removal and reinstatement of road pavement and kerb and gutter. Installation of Tensar Geogrid by Geofabric Australia is also recommended to control severe flexural movement of pavement.
Darlington Street, Enfield - 060177-15SA-RTR
Various damaged broken kerb and gutter. Road surface has deteriorated due to age. Aggregate plucking, longitudinal cracks and potholes were observed.Full deeplift and reseal of asphalt pavement. Kerb and gutter, and pram ramps maintenance and repair.

The existing gravel pavement has worn down to the clay baseIt is proposed to place and compact a 100 millimetre layer of new gravel pavement
