Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Lewer Road, East Carnarvon - 129098-24WA-RTR
Extension of an incomplete foot / bicycle path. In 2023/24 the Shire finished the first section of a foot / bicycle path connected to Lewer Road. Due to budget constraints the Shire wasn't able to finish the path to connect to the path on Robinson Street. The Lewer Road foot / bicycle path is part of a larger path connecting the East Carnarvon Primary and High School to Robinson Street into the town of Carnarvon.Supply and install of approx. 135 Linear Metre (LM) of 2.5 m wide footpath, including: 1. concrete retaining wall (21 LM 300 H X 150 W) with concrete footing. 2. two cross-overs with wings for driveways.
Alexander Drive, Dianella - 129177-24WA-RTR
The 2020 road condition survey rated the surface condition of this section as a 3.79 (with 5 being the worst). Recent inspections have identified there is evidence of pavement failure in the intersection which will require a rehabilitation treatment to rectify.Profile off 40 mm asphalt wearing, in situ foamed bitumen stabilisation of basecourse to a depth of 240 mm, apply two coat emulsion primer seal and lay 40 mm new asphalt concrete wearing.Total cost of proposed project is $1,127,404
Truganina Road, Malaga - 129178-24WA-RTR
The recent condition survey rated the structural condition as 5 out of 5 (with 5 being the worst). Truganina Road is showing evidence of structural and non-structural cracking and signs of failure. Renewal is required to rectify.In situ foamed bitumen stabilisation to a depth of 270 mm, profile off top 40 mm material, apply 7 mm granite primer seal, and lay 40 mm new asphalt concrete wearing.
Kent Way, Malaga - 129176-24WA-RTR
The 2020 road condition survey rated the surface condition as a 3.79 (with 5 being the worst) and is demonstrating evidence of severe structural and non structural cracking. Renewal is required to rectify.Profile off 20 mm asphalt wearing, apply 10 mm strain alleviating membrane interlayer seal and lay 40 mm new asphalt concrete wearing.
Edgecombe Lane, Jerilderie - 129179-24NSW-RTR
Existing pavement requires re sheeting with an all weather road construction material.Re sheeting with gravel/road base material mix to a depth of approximately 100mm and width of 6m, grade to shape, roll and compact.Total cost of proposed project is $71,939
Forrest Hill Avenue - 053347-14NSW-RTR
Road in poor condition including heavily cracked surface, bridge crossingsFull reconstruction of the road including pavement, kerb and sealTotal cost of proposed project is $809,907
Gordon Street, Port Macquarie - 129078-24NSW-RTR
Deteriorated road pavement and wearing surface due to aged pavement and heavy traffic volumes. An intersection upgrade is required to cater for projected growth and to address current congestion.The overall project consists of the detailed design and construction upgrade of Gordon Street and Horton Street intersection from a roundabout to a signalised intersection. The project proposes to include new pavement works and line marking, new traffic signals, additional stormwater drainage and improved pedestrian crossing. The detailed design has now been completed, a Works Authorisation Deed (WAD) obtained from Transport for NSW and a contractor engaged to commence construction in August 2024. As the project is jointly funded, the balance will be paid by Council, including loan and reserves. With regard to the alternate funding sources • R2R funding as applied for • $254,663 development contributions, • $1,500,000 Loan • And the remainder is unexpended design/initiation phase funding carried forward from 2023/24Total cost of proposed project is $3,118,258
Blackmans Creek Road, Hartley - 129150-24NSW-RTR
Seal has come to end of life, subgrade needs repairs in 30% of the area and drainage lines need upgrading.To conduct heavy patching on areas of failure, to remove current seal, grade , compact and reseal, to add road base where necessary and maintain road width. Lithgow City Council will fund the balance of the project.Total cost of proposed project is $330,704
Yamba Road, Palmers Island - 129185-24NSW-RTR
Narrow section of road with multiple potholes and shoving contributing to pavement failures. Widen road width to achieve 12 m formation suitable for traffic volumes on Yamba Road. Lift and stabilise pavement layers to improve overall pavement strength. $2,000,000.00 of approved funding has been allocated from the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements to fix damaged pavement sections and contribute to achieve the full project.
Dog Trap Road (Rural Road) - 129184-24NSW-RTR
Existing unsealed gravel road pavement has deteriorated due to age and increased traffic volumes.Existing unsealed road section will be reshaped, side drains cleared and then re-sheeted with new gravel to a depth of 100 mm.
