Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Dog Trap Road (Rural Road) - 129184-24NSW-RTR
Existing unsealed gravel road pavement has deteriorated due to age and increased traffic volumes.Existing unsealed road section will be reshaped, side drains cleared and then re-sheeted with new gravel to a depth of 100 mm.
Owens Creek Loop Road, Owens Creek - 129097-24QLD-RTR
Addressing shoulder defects/dropoff.Shoulder grading and gravelling of road.Total cost of proposed project is $23,146
Walkerston – Homebush Road, Palmyra - 129096-24QLD-RTR
Addressing shoulder defects/dropoff.Shoulder grading and gravelling of road.Total cost of proposed project is $48,860
Munburra Road, Munburra - 128360-24QLD-RTR
Addressing shoulder defects/dropoff.Shoulder grading and gravelling of road.Total cost of proposed project is $123,454
Rabbiters Road (Rural Road) - 129183-24SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to increased milk tanker heavy traffic servicing the local dairy industry and general farming activities causing water to pool on the road. Water cannot drain off the road due to ruts forming on the road pavement. Forms part of the infrastructure asset improvement plan for the Mount Schank locality.Reconstruct and seal road 1,700 m metre section, 8 metres wide. Additional funding from Council reserves.Total cost of proposed project is $270,025
Airport Road (Rural Road) - 129181-24SA-RTR
Road is being maintained, as a high traffic road. Evidence of potholes occurring if it is not resealed, with the road loosing it’s skid resistance, causing major safety concerns. Forms part of Councils asset renewal program.Reconstruct and seal 1,250 metre section, 8 metres wide. Additional funding from Council reserves.Total cost of proposed project is $197,182
Briggs Road, Honeywood - 053356-14TAS-RTR
The existing road base has deteriorated resulting in frequent pothole repairs, and needs to be reconstructed. The intersection with Baskerville Road had poor sightlines visibility so a dip in the road is to be raised to improve safety of the intersection. The currently alignment and width doesn't meet Australian Standards so the road will be widened so that it meets the standards.Earthworks are required to improve the alignment of the road. The existing pavement will be stabilised and new widening pavement constructed to bring the road up to standard. The works will be completed with a new base layer and 2 coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,200,000
Wandilo Forest Road (Rural Road) - 129180-24SA-RTR
Improved width of road with edge breaks due to insufficient width.Reconstruct & Seal road 2,000 metre section, 9 metres wide. Additional Source of Funding - Supplementary Local Roads Funding.Total cost of proposed project is $409,501
Kingsley Road, Allendale East - 129182-24SA-RTR
To improve drainage and increase width of road.Installation of Kerb and Cannel 140 m of Kingsley Road from Mortimer Street to Holland Court. (Additional funding from Council Reserves)Total cost of proposed project is $355,548
Leslie Road, Middle Swan - 129175-24WA-RTR
The condition survey undertaken in 2020 rated the structural condition as 4.2 (with 5 being the worst). Tree roots from the large trees have grown into the road pavement causing significant uplift. Treatment is required to address the tree root issue and remove the uneven surface.Straight Line Kilometre (SLK) 0.04-0.17 measured from Leslie Road: Profile off 70 mm asphalt wearing, apply two coat emulsion primer seal, lay two layers (40 mm+30 mm) new Asphalt wearing to address tree root issue. Straight Line Kilometre (SLK) 0.17-0.35 measured from Leslie Road: Profile off 30 mm asphalt wearing, apply two coat emulsion primer seal, lay 40 mm new Asphalt wearing.
