Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Tanami Road (Rural Road) - 129073-24WA-RTR
Road formation and the unsealed gravel surface is worn, degraded and losing shape. The existing roadside drainage requires reshaping and renewal. Additional funding to be provided by council funds.Reform and re-sheet the road formation and renew the existing roadside drainage including table drains and offshoot drains. The project will be partly funded by Remote Access Road funding administered by Main Roads WA and the Shire's own source municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000
Sims Road (rural road) - 053361-14VIC-RTR
The road pavement and surface has significantly deteriorated. There is substantial rutting and potholing along the road length.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the addition of pavement material and final seal.Total cost of proposed project is $298,832
Gordon Downs Road (Rural Road) - 129075-24WA-RTR
Road formation is worn and the gravel sheeting has been worn away and is becoming thin in various areas. The road becomes heavily corrugated from local traffic.Reform and re-sheet the unsealed road carriageway including renewal of existing roadside drainage elements comprising table drains and offshoot drains. Additional funding provided by Main Roads WA (Remote Access Roads).Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
Lansdowne Street, Subiaco - 128191-24WA-RTR
Crocodile and longitudinal structural cracking of the road pavement resulting in fatigue failure of the pavement.Profile the existing pavement by 25-30 mm and replace it with dense graded asphalt 30 mm thick (10 mm aggregate size). Length of Road - 238.5 m. Width of the pavement - varies. Area of the pavement - 2 070 m2. The balance of funding will be made up of municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $65,000
Allambie Road (Rural Road) - 127561-24TAS-RTR
Significant pavement failures, inadequate road side drainage and poor road geometry. The reconstruction of 707 metres of rural road. Including upgrade to roadside drainage and a vertical lift of the surface.
Syson Rd (Rural Road) - 127461-24WA-RTR
Adding gravel to road and repairing culverts for drainage.Reform, re-sheeting and reinstate drainage.
Yuelamu Access Road off Tanami road (Rural Road) - 129051-24NT-RTR
The exiting road surface is below the ground level and made of sand clay which gets corrugated and damaged frequently. The existing drainage system is not functioning well. This results lower level of service to community. Also, it goes under water during the rainy season making it impassable. Based on these factors, this road needs to be raised and gravel sheeted and the drainage needs to be upgraded.It is proposed to lift the road providing subgrade, sub-base and to provide gravel base. Also, it is proposed to upgrade the drainage system.
Byrnes Road, Wagga Wagga - 129219-24NSW-RTR
Road is potholed and cracked.Rehabilitation and reseal for a length of 1,047 metres and an area of 9,287 square metres.Total cost of proposed project is $869,690
Vincent Road, Lake Albert - 129208-24NSW-RTR
Road is potholed and cracked.Rehabilitation and sealing works for length of 748 metres and area of 11,779 square metres.
McDonalds Bridge Road, Dyraaba - 129193-24NSW-RTR
Road Shoulders have failed due to the existing bitumen being narrow and being utilised on a daily basis by a high proportion of Heavy Vehicles.Widen road shoulders, improve road geometry, rehabilitate existing road pavement and provide improved roadside drainage. Jointly Funded project with Richmond Valley Council funding $384,057, Transport for NSW funding $635,437 under the Essential Public Asset Restoration Program & Transport for NSW funding of $37,623 under the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund.Total cost of proposed project is $1,750,000
