Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Current culvert is constructed with a timber deck and the deck has disintegrated. Bridge is now only single lane making it unsafe for traffic.Replace timber deck with concrete deck, stabilise the abutments, replace guardrail, upgrade the road approaches This project is jointly funded by Local Roads Community Infrastructure Project.Total cost of proposed project is $1,000,000

Loss of gravel pavement over time has resulted in a corrugated and slippery surface that is difficult to maintainSupply, place and compact 100mm of gravel to the existing alignment and width
Thornhill Street, Young - 129710-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failures and deformation. Pavement has reached end of useful life. Pavement is rough and unable to reseal in the current condition.Reconstruct pavement by in situ chemical stabilisation, correct trim and seal road. This project is jointly funded by Local Roads Community Infrastructure Project.Total cost of proposed project is $1,000,000
Gentle Road, Tangambalanga - 129730-24VIC-RTR
An unsealed gravel road on the urban fringe is causing an excessive dust nuisance for a number of nearby residents and road users.Upgrade of pavement material and road shaping followed by placement of an initial primerseal treatment to address dust.Total cost of proposed project is $97,008
Kergunyah Road, Kergunyah - 129729-24VIC-RTR
Existing sealed road experiencing widespread significant seal and pavement failures which previous isolated patching and resurfacing treatments have failed to address.Full width sealed pavement and shoulder rehabilitation, using deep lift lime and cement stabilisation treatments along with new pavement material depth and an initial seal reinstatement. Joint funding received from the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) program - Phase 4 - Part BTotal cost of proposed project is $594,070
Turnbull Road, Neerabup - 129702-24WA-RTR
No drainage or parking available on the street.Widen existing pavement along with new kerbing, crossovers and adjustments to stormwater structures.
Warman Street, Neerabup - 129704-24WA-RTR
No drainage or parking available on the street.Widen existing pavement along with new kerbing, crossovers and adjustment to stormwater structures.
Highclere Boulevard, Marangaroo - 129741-24WA-RTR
Existing surface has reached its terminal age, with a new surface required to preserve pavement life.Construct new pavement along with replacement of kerbing, crossovers and adjustments to stormwater structures.Total cost of proposed project is $1,007,964
Durlacher Street, Denham - 129523-24WA-RTR
Durlacher Street bitumen seal has numerous longitudinal and crocodile cracking with evidence of some stripping. Kerbs are in an extremely poor condition with multiple cracks and defects. Footpath is not suitable for purpose as it has a very poor and uneven surface condition and not wide enough for dual use purposes.Remove footpath and kerbs. Profile existing seal. Reinstate kerbs and install dual use footpath. Reseal along Durlacher Street with asphalt. Replace signage as required. Balance of project costs being provided by Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.Total cost of proposed project is $568,920
