Karbeethong Avenue Mallacoota, - 094124-17VIC-RTR
Failing Seal - Seal is aged, oxidising and crackingRehabilitation, Asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work reinstatement of line marking.
West Beach Road, West Beach - 094125-17SA-RTR
The current alignment is a two lane non-divided road, with on road parking on the Northern Side and open drain on the Southern Side. The road is designated as a local distributor which acts as a main thoroughfare between Adelaide Airport, Harbourtown, and Adelaide Shores the beach and Western suburbs. There are currently no dedicated turning lanes into the sporting complex and numerous boats and caravans use the road to access nearby tourist and recreational facilities. These boats and caravans are wider than normal and are less manoueuvrable causing safety concerns. The existing road is classified as a major collector road at its upper bound. It is currently rapidly moving towards become a distributor road with traffic counts (2 day weekday) of over 5000 vehicles requiring immediate improvement.Work proposed includes providing a divided road, with protected turning lanes, dedicated parking lane, two on road cycle lanes, water sensitive urban design options for stormwater drainage, upgraded landscaping and an off road shared use path. Work includes separating the opposing lanes with a wide median allowing protected turning facilities to the sports field car parks while allowing large recreational vehicles, boats and trucks to safely navigate the area. Stage 1 of 2 will mainly comprise of the CIVIL Component of the project, which includes all earthworks, drainage, storm water, concrete works and asphalt works over the 1.2kms length. City of Charles Sturt acknowledge the requirement for the contractor to be accredited in the Federal WHS accreditation scheme and is a mandatory requirement of council’s tender process.Total cost of proposed project is $5,700,000
Mail Road (Rural Road) - 094126-17SA-RTR
The existing roadway has experienced a significant increase in freight movements servicing the poultry industry expansion in adjoining Wakefield Council. As a result maintenance costs have increased along with shortened life of the road due to increased heavy vehicle use. The upgrade will allow access by larger vehicles to transport general freight to and from the farms. The road has very little vertical deviation and is flat for the majority of its length. The upgrade will support economic activities associated with the poultry industry in the region. The 2.0km section of road will be reconstructed and sealed to a formation width of 11.0m, sealed width of 8.0m, with pavement thickness of 300mm compacted, standard cross-section with 3% falls. Signing and guideposts in accordance with Australian Standards. This is a joint project in that neighbouring council Wakefield Regional Council has approved 2017-18 FAG's funding (Identified Local Road - Special Local Road) approved for a further section of Mail Road that runs through their council area.Total cost of proposed project is $315,600
Myrtle Grove - 094127-17VIC-RTR
Myrtle Grove was originally construction in 1934 and had its last surfacing treatment (a spray seal) in 1989. The road is in poor condition evidenced by serious cracking and pavement deterioration. Drainage along the length of the road, particularly the kerbs and channels requires upgrade and replacement. The southern end of the road is an identified low point in the local drainage network, the lack of adequate drainage from which causes localised flooding. It is proposed to undertake a reconstruction of the road to replace the kerb and channel, replace the road surface and install additional underground drainage. These works will serve to renew the road, increasing its serviceable life, reduce flooding from stormwater and meet Council's asset management objectives for road assets.

Mingbool Road is a heavy vehicle by-pass road and provide access for commodity freight to the A1 Princess Highway into Victoria for the horticulture, agriculture, dairy and forestry industries north of the City of Mount Gambier. The road is currently not fit for purpose as it is too narrow for heavy vehicles and requires widening. The road is rutting, cracking and particularly unsafe for users particularly in wet weather conditions with line marking to be refreshed to improved delineation. The Work proposed to Stage (1&2) 4.2km section of Mingbool Road includes widening the overall carriageway width from 6m to 10m. Pavement will be surfaced to a thicker surface from 200mm to 300mmTotal cost of proposed project is $619,835
Urandangie South Road, (rural road) - 094135-17QLD-RTR

Mail Road (Rural Road) - 094137-17SA-RTR
Poor drainage due to lack of material and deformation, high maintenance effort, poor standard rough surface difficult to negotiate due to being slippery in wet conditions. The road has become freight route due due to intensive farming activities.Construct and seal 4.6 kilometres of road to the following specification; formation width - 11.0m, sealed width - 8.0m, seal type - 14/7mm, standard cross-section with 3% falls, pavement thickness - approximately 300mm compacted, pavement material - PM40 rubble locally sourced, compaction - 95% sub base, 97% basecourse, linemarking - centreline, turning radius at entrances and intersections 15 metres, road design in accordance with AUSTROADS guidelines, signing & guideposts in accordance with Australian Standards and 75mm Asphaltic Concrete 20 metres legs on property entrances and road intersectionsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,510,000
