Project description

This road receives traffic from local grain and cattle properties, connecting traffic as well as being a significant school bus route. The current gravel/black soil road surface deteriorates during heavy rainfall and can be unsafe for road users and not trafficable for periods of time.

Overlay of 150-300mm of new gravel pavement and two coat bitumen seal. Includes replacement floodway, construction of 6 x new 8m wide concrete floodways, a 40m concrete margin and 2 x 600mm RCP's within this section of road.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,779,712
