Project description

Stage 1 of the Orroroo heavy vehicle bypass addressed the problem of trucks using roads that come too close to the residential and recreational areas of the town. Stage 2 of the project which is to happen in 2021/2022 will address the RM Williams Way, Railway Terrace and North Terrace, Railway Terrace intersections. Both of these intersections need major realignment and reconstruction.

Removal of current sealed roads, realignment of intersections, construction and sealing of the 540 metre section that will link to the completed Stage 1 of the project

Total cost of proposed project is $1,680,000
