Project description

The existing road generally has a seal width of 4 metres and the surface has many edge breaks pot holes and deformations. The existing culverts are formed with butt joint pipes that have moved resulting in road pavement deformation in the vicinity of the pipe joints. Some trees may be situated too close to the road shoulder.

Undertake a feature survey of the full width of the existing road corridor to enable an engineering redesign of the road; identify and remove any trees that are within the proposed road corridor, remove and replace stormwater culverts as required the form the road table drains and subgrade as per the new design then import, spread and compact gravel to form an 8 metre wide pavement and place a 6 metre wide bitumen spray seal. Replace or reinstate road side signage and place new guideposts.

Total cost of proposed project is $526,388
