Project description

Non-compliant approach on minor leg of intersection (Glenbawn Road, Scone) with minimal sight distance on approach to a rural road T-intersection. Narrow width of road pavement at intersection with vehicles crossing the road centre line when turning onto connecting road.

Realign pavement centre line approximately 100m on approach to provide a 90 degree T-intersection with widening of pavement required to accommodate width of turning vehicles. Provide typical BAR widening on major leg on intersection (Gundy Road, Scone) to improve traffic safety.

Total cost of proposed project is $330,000
