Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Birri Road (Rural Road) - 061470-15QLD-RTR

The road has a rough surface due to corregation, this has caused the road to become unsafe and has limited access to habited remote outstations.The use of a grader and roller to remove all corregation and restore the road to a safe manner.

Springwood Road (Rural Road) - 061472-15NSW-RTR

Pavement is displaying deterioration with extensive cracking and minor shoving requiring a reseal to prevent further damage and reinstate an impermeable surface.Minor bitumen maintenance such as pothole and edge break repair prior to applying bitumen reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $98,965

Matong North Road (Rural Road) - 061473-15NSW-RTR

These sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehicle movements and rainfall.Rehabilitate section by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road subgrade, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by a bitumen seal.

Carne Road, Williams (Rural Road) - 061474-15WA-RTR

Bitumen road surface is coming to the end of its predicted useful life.Bitumen reseal.

Gabriel Street, CLOVERDALE - 061475-15WA-RTR

Asphalt has cracking due to base course deformation. There has been a loss of stone in the wearing course as a result of the age of the asphalt and short sections of damaged kerb line need to be replaced along with drainage pit lifting to meet new finished road levels.Length, width and area of the job: 185m x 11m = 2,035m2. Reconstruct the top half of the base course material including asphalt through a wet mix construction process. Replace damaged sections of kerb line, lift drainage pits to match final asphalt overlay. At grade median to be overlayed in red asphalt.

Burrington Road (Rural Road) - 061476-15NSW-RTR

Area requires re-sheeting as black soil is coming through the sub base and causing the road to be unpassable in wet conditionsGravel re-sheeting for 1km with 100mm of gravel. Plus a trial of Polycom Stabilization for this section

Burrington Road (Rural Road) - 061477-15NSW-RTR

Area requires re-sheeting as black soil is coming through the sub base and causing the road to be unpassable in wet conditionsGravel re-sheeting for 2.5km with 100mm of gravel. Note no additives will be used as this will be the control for the other trials

Hollow Tree Road - 061478-15TAS-RTR

The road is potholing and breaking up significantly in this section of road.Dig out bad sections of the road and resurface as required with 50 to 75mm of asphalt.

Morgans Street, Ravensthorpe - 061479-15WA-RTR

Main Street Streetscape improvements, drainage improvements, install traffic calming device, and road resurfacingRoad surface to be profiled, construct elevated table, install additional drainage, install new kerbing and resurface road with asphalt treatment. The planned works include an intersection upgrade i.e. new asphalt, kerbing and drainage improvements at Carlisle and Morgans Street.Total cost of proposed project is $1,450,000
