Road has high traffic volumes and is too narrow for existing and future usage. Lacking in formal drainage including kerb & gutter. Footpath is required as this is a residential area.Widen the roadway from 7.0 meteres to 12.0 metres over a distance of 330 metres. Provide kerb and gutter and footpath both sides. Extend existing culvert to match widening. Construct retaining wall. Construct stormwater drainage. Install guard rail. Driveway level adjustments. Substantial earthworks required.Total cost of proposed project is $1,285,140
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface has serve cracking and is approaching the end of its useful life. Some patching of existing surface followed by the application of new full width spray high stress seal over the existing sealed surface.Some patching of failed areas, crack sealing, SAMI Seal over the more severely cracked sections and then thin high stress asphalt wearing course.
Wearing course is due for renewal as per cyclic asset inspectionReseal to an average width of 4.8 m for a distance of 820 m.
