Road traverses black soil country and black soil is now becoming evident through the old gravel pavement create areas that become slippery and dangerous during wet weather.Provede an 8m wide gravel pavent with a 4m wide 2 coat bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,684,924
Differential subgrade settlement, pavement failures, rutting, shoving and stripping.Clear all vegetation upto the edge of the drain. Sidecast and treat the sub grade for the entire stretch suffered from differential settlement of the subgrade starting from approximate Chainage 300m until Chainage 1475m. Excavate, pulverise and stabilise with cement, shape, relay and compact to uniform depth of 250mm. Apply 100mm thick layer of 20mm nominal size class 2 fine crushed rock. Apply two coat spray seal. Intsall kerb and channel on both sides from approximate Chainage 775m until Chainage 1175m along the cutting. Clean and reshape existing drain. Install subsoil drains below the subgrade. Replace the existing culvert with 375mm diameter pipe culvert with endwalls on both sides.
Asphalt road is showing signs of failure from poor drainage and aging road surface.Asphalt resurfacing works on Thomas Street. Thomas Street is approx. 12m wide. Works includes patching, resurfacing, drainage upgrade, kerb and line marking.
Poor road pavement. This section of the road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be reconstructed. The road is integral to the network as it provides access to a key industrial estate.Reconstruction of a 585m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety, including upgrade of drainage and kerb and channeling.Total cost of proposed project is $3,703,998
This section of road is currently in poor condition with loss of gravel causing corrugations and roughnessIt is proposed to gravel resheet this section to a 6 metre pavement width

heavy traffic volumes over time have deteriorated the road surface, allowing water to penetrate the road foundation, which has then started to fail resulting in a rough surface and repeating potholesExcavate the road foundation in localised areas to a depth of 150mm and replace with new asphalt, remove the surface layer to a depth of 50mm and replace with new asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $412,000
Widening and replacing the existing 5.0metre bitumen seal which is too narrow and in a deteriorated state.Remove existing bitumen, reshape pavement and apply a 10mm bitumen primer sealTotal cost of proposed project is $179,904
Wearing surface due renewal as per cyclic asset inspectionResealing to an average width 6.3m for 0.4km
