Road is currently 5.5m wide, which is inadequate for emergency vehicles (Sadie Canning Drive is road to local hospital), regular traffic as well as large vehicles (trucks) are traversing the road in opposite directionsReconstruction of shoulders to allow extra seal width, resealing to preserve existing seal and kerbing at highway intersection
Deterioration/wear to existing seal requires rectification as well as increasing radius to curve/bend on road to improve accessibility for heavy/long vehicles.Reseal to existing bitumen surface, radius increase to curve/bend will include widening existing formation, resealing, line marking and kerbing
The road surface is uneven and eroded due to traffic and weather. It is planed to add gravel and regrade the surface.
The road is affected by large amount of cracks and some pavement failures. The surface is old and oxidised. Existing pavement defects and multiple patches have increased road roughness. The proposed work includes reconstruction of trafficable pavement areas with asphalt and resurfacing with asphalt. Length = 300 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 3600 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $237,711
Sealed carriageway surface identified with a number of cracks with majority of surface area worn off.Crack sealing and 10/7 size double coat chip seal over 7.75 m wide 330 m carriageway.
