Expired Asset - Asset Renewal. Unsealed road currently has poor formation and is potholed and the rubble sheet is worn.Apply a 75mm x 7m wide crushed limestone rubble sheet to the road surface and install road surface drainage.
Bounty Boulevard intersection with Aurora Boulevard and Fidler Street North Lakes - 057289-15QLD-RTR
Safety upgrade to traffic signals required for the safety of all users with the emphasis on pedestrian safety through separation of left turn vehicle movements and conflicting pedestrian movement as well as bicycle storage areas on all legs of the intersection.Road widening and alterations to median on the southern side ( Bounty Boulevard ) leg of the intersection. Reallocation of lanes with line marking alterations. Installation of bicycle storage areas on all legs. New signal loops to suit the new intersection configuration and changes to signal aspects and arrows.
The existing asphalt road surface is oxidised with substantial longitudinal and transverse cracking and loss of cross-sectional shape with heavy rutting at the approach to intersections.Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface (full width) to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 365 metres and a width of 18.5 metres and reinstate the road surface with 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course and 10 mm type V hot mix asphalt for 50 metres on the approaches to the intersections, all to a depth of 50 mm.
Existing road requires reconstruction because it is cracked and rutted. Also has problems with road drainage and alignment issues requiring rectification for safety.Full road reconstruction addressing road formation, drainage and alignment on Mayfield Road ( 930 metres in length )Total cost of proposed project is $505,000
The existing asphalt road surface is oxidised with substantial longitudinal and transverse cracking and loss of cross-sectional shape with heavy rutting at the approach to intersections.Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 660 metres and a width of 15 metres and reinstate over the whole area with 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course to a depth of 50 mm.
The road has extreme depressions and the pavement is in poor condition due to excessive cracking of seal allowing water to penetrate and cause pavement damage. Major damage has been caused by buses due to this road being a bus routeTo reconstruct approximately 900 metres of road by excavating existing material and providing for new 400 millimetre crushed rock pavement with 40 millimetre asphalt seal to accommodate ongoing bus movement
road is corrugated, bony and potholedresheeting with limestone rubble to 150mm for entire length of road
The existing road has a very narrow seal with many sections failing due to increased heavy traffic flow and failed edges are compromising vehicle safetyFull reconstruction of 1.6 kilometres of sealed section and widening of road from existing 4.0 metre wide seal to 6.6 metre seal width. Pavement formation increased to 400 millimetre depth with 300 millimetre depth gravel shoulders
road is corrugated, poor drainage and potholedresheeting with limestone rubble to 150mm, installation of pipes and headwalls to improve drainage
The road has a narrow 3.5 metre existing seal with substantial edge breaks and worn shoulders.Reconstruct shoulders, seal shoulders to 6.5 metres and reseal full width.
Significant tree clearing is required to gain clear zone and re-fencing of property boundary for full length of project.
