Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

This road was highlighted in Council's asset management plan as being too narrow, extensive potholes, rutting and corrugations which will be corrected through widening and resheetingWiden carridgeway by 1 metre by removing some vegetation/trees and resheet the road to prevent further damage to the pavement. Resheet a total of 3290 meters, up to 8 metres wide.

Dr Pages Road - Cootharaba - 057023-15QLD-RTR

Unsealed section of road between Dr Pages Road and Kinmond Creek Road - to be sealed.Construction of unsealed section (sealing) including drainage and intersection upgrade, line-marking, signage, associated resumption and supervision costs.Total cost of proposed project is $4,469,727

East West One Highway, (Rural Road) - 057025-15SA-RTR

This road was highlighted in Council's asset management plan as having extensive potholes, rutting, clay patches and corrugations which will be corrected through resheetingReinstate the sheeted road to prevent further damage to the pavement and safer passage for local access, freight and tourists. Resheet a total of 4700 metres up to 7 metres wide.

Todd Street, Kingscote - 057032-15SA-RTR

Water ponding extensively along Todd Street damaging the pavement.Kerbing no longer functioning due to failed CWMS lines that have caused sinking and major rutting on the sealed surface. Under a separate project CWMS lines are being replaced and road resealed along with new kerbing to ensure efficient removal and disposal of stormwater

Terip Road, Terip Terip - 057059-15VIC-RTR

Existing pavement is severly depleted of pavement material.Nominal pavement width to be increased to 4m. Renewal of low standard pavement with minimum 80mm fine crushed rock.
