Culvert has deteriorated over a number of years, creating a hazard for road users and requires replacingReplace culvert, reconstruct road section
Culvert headwalls have deteriorated over a number of years, causing roadway erosion and creating hazard for road users.Replace culvert, extend pipes, reinstate roadway
Little James Street is no longer adequate for the volume of traffic, as the road is currently narrow the road suffers from edge break. There is no control over stormwater at the moment, the stormwater is scouring the edge of the road and driveways.Little James Street will be fully reconstructed and widened to 7.5m from the existing 6m and kerbed on both sides to control stormwater run off.
And 10.5m wide sealed footpath will be constructed.
Road profile is poor, and subject to pot holing. Road is also narrow. This road is a commodity route and needs to be widened.Resheet with 250mm crushed rubble, widen to road to 6.5m and provide new profile to enable stormwater run off.Total cost of proposed project is $40,000
Road profile is poor and subject to pot holing. Road is also narrow with crest that cause poor sight distance. The road is a commodity route and needs to be widened.Resheet with 250mm crushed rubble, widen road to 6m and provide profile to enable stormwater run off.
Drainage issues, bitumen surface pot holed and narrow pavement area.Reconstruct, Widen, Kurb and Two Coat Seal as per Design.
Pavement failure and uneven surfaceReconstruct failed pavement and seal seven metres wide
Increased edgewear caused by increase in traffic volume and traffic compositionWiden and seal shoulders by one metre each side of road
The old aggregate seal is losing stone and becoming porous which allows stormwater to penetrate the baseResealing this section of road with 30mm thick asphalt will protect the pavement
The old aggregate seal has extensive cracking that will result in water inundationResealing this road with 30mm thick asphalt will extend the life of this road pavement
