Construction required to facilitate traffic movements associated with the newly constructed School as well as the forecast increase in traffic movements generated from the adjoining future residential developmentsConstruction of a two lane rural road roundabout at the existing intersection including 340m total approach works in Ocean Drive and 260m approach works on Houston Mitchell DriveTotal cost of proposed project is $2,600,000
Queen Street Busselton - 055110-14WA-RTR
The Queen Street Bridge is a timber two lane bridge that is the main access into the City of Busselton. Due to significant population and tourism growth within the region the bridge will be replaced with a four lane bridge to service the town. Traffic delays due to traffic jams into the town are now common. This funding will be used for design and preconstruction activities.
Nyah Street, Keilor East - 055111-14VIC-RTR
Road surface cracked and wornRemove existing asphalt road surface and replace with new asphalt road surface
Ward Road (Rural Road) - 055112-14QLD-RTR
Drainage Structure failure/metal helicor pipes collapsing and concrete deck and batter deterioration/cracking.Remove Current floodway and replace with new concrete pipes, deck and batters to standard
Campbell Street, RIVERVALE - 055113-14WA-RTR
Asphalt cracking, surface deformations with a loss of stone in the wearing course due to asphalt age and damaged kerbing are being addressed with the reconstruction of the road.Length, width and area of job: 203m x 12.2m = 2,477m2. Reconstruct the existing top half of the base course material through wet mix construction process. Replace existing kerbing on both sides of the road and overlay full length with a new wearing course.
Marsh Avenue, Manning WA - 055115-14WA-RTR
This bus route has a high degree of cracking, poor transverse shape and surface irregularities leading to an uncomfortable ride for bus patrons and noise and vibration issues with adjacent residential properties. The pavement will be lightly milled to reduce the affect of the surface irregularities. An asphalt corrector course will be applied to ensure good longitudinal grade and transverse shape. All edge kerbing will be removed and replaced and a final wearing surface of Stone Mastic Asphalt applied.
Hutchison Street, RIVERVALE - 055116-14WA-RTR
Excessive cracking of existing wearing course allowing egress of stormwater runoff into the base course causing pumping of fines to the surface damaging the road structurally.Length, width and area of the job: 295m x 7.4m = 2,183m2. Profiling of the kerb edges of the asphalt wearing course. Retention of the existing kerbing both sides of the road and adjusting of existing drainage structures to match new road levels.
Daly Street, BELMONT - 055117-14WA-RTR
The age of the existing road structure has started to affect the wearing course with cracking of the asphalt and large sections of the kerbing damaged. There are also sub-standard drainage structures that require replacement. The top half of the base course will be treated through a wet mixing process followed by the replacement of existing drainage structures and placing of them to new road levels. New kerbing down both sides of the road and a final asphalt overlay will complete the project.
Gladstone Road, RIVERVALE - 055118-14WA-RTR
The condition of the existing asphalt wearing course is poor with minor deformations and cracking evident.Length, width and area of the job: 640m x 7.4m = 4,736m2. Kerbing is to be retained with the edge of the asphalt wearing course profiled along both kerb faces. Existing drainage structures raised to new road levels and the full length of the job overlayed.
