Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Benambra-Corryong Road Upgrades
This project delivered targeted road surface and safety upgrades on Benambra-Corryong Road.
Tyers Road - Scrubby Lane - Cross’s Road Intersection Upgrade
This project upgraded the intersection of Tyers Road, Scubby Lane and Cross's Road in Traralgon West.
Western Freeway realignment at Pykes Creek (Ballarat bound)
This project will realign the Western Freeway, Ballarat bound at Pykes Creek. This project will realign a 1.1 kilometre section of the westbound carriageway of the Western Freeway at Pykes Creek, east of Ballarat. The works will include earthworks, pavement and drainage upgrades, signage and line marking, and safety barrier installation.
Traralgon-Maffra Road and Moe-Glengarry Road Intersection Upgrade
This project provided intersection improvements at the junction of Traralgon Maffra Road and Moe Glengarry Road, including the construction of a new roundabout.
Surf Coast Highway, Reserve Road, Felix Street Intersection Improvements
This project will provide intersection improvements at the junction of Surf Coast Highway at Reserve Road and Felix Street and includes the installation of traffic signals.
Geelong-Portarlington Road and Wilsons Road Intersection Upgrade
This project will upgrade the intersection of Geelong-Portarlington Road and Wilsons Road in Geelong. The works will include the installation of traffic signals, pedestrian improvements and associated works. 
Wendouree Station – Local Traffic Calming
This project will deliver traffic calming and pedestrian access and safety upgrades around Wendouree Station.
Groombridges Road, Kettering - 109987-20TAS-RTR
• A 520m section of Groombridges Rd has an average gradient of 20%. Due to the steep gradient the existing gravel surface is slippery and presents a safety hazard to motorists – there have been accidents due to vehicles losing traction. • The steep gravel section of road also scours and develops corrugations that require frequent ongoing maintenance.A 5.5m wide sealing of a 730m section of Groombridges Rd with a 7/14 two-coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,110,000
Bimbeen Road (Rural Road) - 109990-20NSW-RTR
This road has a 6m wide gravelled surface and has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have extensive gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel, and wet grade the sections which only lost the shape and restore the table drains and mitre drains.
Victoria Street, Warwick - 109997-20QLD-RTR
Deformed kerb, channel and pavement due to inadequate existing drainage.Reconstructing the shoulder and parking lane; reinstating kerb and channel to provide better drainage; and rectify existing pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $378,220
