Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Murray Farm Road - 111943-20NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by numerous cracks and structural pavement failures, especially at bus stop areas and around traffic islands. It is old and permeable, enabling water ingress into the pavement.The proposed work includes reconstruction of affected pavement areas and resurfacing of the road with hot mix asphalt. Length = 180 m; Width = 10.2 m; Area = 1836 m2.
Yates Avenue - 111944-20NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by numerous potholes, old pavement patches and structural failures, which makes it very rough. The existing surface is old and brittle and prone to potholes and delamination.The proposed work includes reconstruction of existing pavement with asphalt. Length = 175 m; Width = 6.6 m; Area = 1155 m2
Chapel Street, St Kilda - 111928-20VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspection and customer requests. The pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Resurfacing this road will improve road performance with regards to strength and riding quality.40mm thick size 10 asphalt wearing course along 211metre and 9.0 metre width (Area = 1899 m2)
Centre Avenue, Port Melbourne - 111932-20VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspections. The pavement surface has deteriorated which may directly influence the riding quality and skid resistance. Resurfacing this road segment will improve the road performance and provide strength and riding quality.40mm thick size 10 type N asphalt wearing course along 89 metre and width 11.4 metre (two sides each 5.7metre) Total asphalt area =1,015m2Total cost of proposed project is $68,219
Mackay Street (Cootamundra) - 111927-20NSW-RTR
Existing sealed surface is severely deformed with pavement defects and inadequate pavement shape. This impacts riding quality and increases long term maintenance cost. Poor pavement shape also contributes to water ponding resulting in accelerating pavement defects.Lime stabilise of existing subbase and overlay with gravel to strengthen and widen the road. Kerb and gutter will be replaced to improve the drainage of the road .Total cost of proposed project is $1,176,110
Old Gundagai Rd (Rural Road, Cullinga area) - 111926-20NSW-RTR
Existing sealed surface is in narrow, uneven, in poor condition which required currently high yearly maintenance. Upgrading road condition will reduce maintenace cost and increase life of asset. This project is continuation of previous approved RTR project.Lime Stabilise existing subbase and overlay with gravel to strengthen and widen the road. Improving horrizontal sight distance over crest of hill by lowering road crest.Total cost of proposed project is $836,007
Khyber Road (rural road) - 111946-20QLD-RTR
Loss of Gravel along the shoulders resulting in drop in grade.Shoulder grading with imported gravel and seal graded sections with double coat bitumen seal.
Cox Street (Rural Road) - 111922-20WA-RTR
Sealed road pavement is failing and losing shape in specific locations. Numerous large potholes are within road carriageway. Seal edge is worn and there are edge breaks in this location.Reconstruct full width of sealed pavement and construct new 2-coat seal over newly constructed pavement.
Jirrirndi Crescent (Rural road) - 111921-20WA-RTR
Sealed road pavement at a floodway is failing and losing shape. The seal surface has reached the end of its useful life and now requires reconstruction.Reconstruct sealed floodway pavement and seal surfacing to provide for a 7 metre wide sealed pavement.
Piriyaji Court (Rural Road) - 111923-20WA-RTR
Sealed road pavement is failing and losing shape in specific locations. Numerous large potholes are within road carriageway. Seal edge is worn and there are edge breaks in this location.Reconstruct full width of sealed pavement and construct new 2-coat seal onto new gravel pavement.
