Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. West Jindivick Rd, Jindivick - 113155-20VIC-RTR
There are signs of localised cracking, potholes, depression issues at multiple locations along the entire section of this road which are required to be repaired to improve its condition.Localised pavement repair and patching works.Total cost of proposed project is $123,899
Main Jindivick Rd, Jindivick - 113154-20VIC-RTR
There are signs of localised cracking, potholes, depression issues at multiple locations along the 5.7 km section of this road which are required to be repaired to improve its service life and condition.Localised pavement repair patching works are proposed at multiple locations.Total cost of proposed project is $221,279
Railway Street, Cloncurry - 113153-20QLD-RTR
The existing pavement (2 coat seal) along with box culverts have deteriorated and are now insufficient for the current drainage and traffic requirements. Existing infrastructure is required to be upgraded and rehabilitated to a standard suitable for the increased traffic volumes.Existing Box culverts will be demolished and new culverts installed. Existing sealed surface will be removed, subgrade rehabilitated and new 2 coat seal installed. Line marking and installation of new road furniture will also be undertaken as part of the upgrade works.Total cost of proposed project is $2,086,615
Pollocksford Road Barrabool - 052293-14VIC-RTR
Isolated pavement failure, poor superelevation and narrow sealed pavement.Reconstruction of failed pavement and widening of seal.
Margaret Reynolds Drive, Bowen - 112985-20QLD-RTR
The Flagstaff Hill Cultural Centre has finally been awarded for construction following damage and demolition after Tropical Cyclone Debbie. The existing road to the proposed centre requires widening to allow the safe passing of two heavy vehicles. The inside slope requires cutting of fractured rock to widen the pavement and include suitable drainage and batter slopesWidening the inside curve to allow safer access to multiple heavy vehicles. Improving drainage and stability of the rock face on the inside slope. Sealing of the pavement wideing and linemarking of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $180,697
Glenearn Road (Rural Road) - 113162-20QLD-RTR
The road surface on this section is in poor condition and deteriorating causing roughnessIt is proposed to resheet sections on this roadTotal cost of proposed project is $359,410
Molong Street, Condobolin - 113170-20NSW-RTR
Existing street is used as a heavy traffic route through a residential area past two schools. As part of the development of Maitland Street as a heavy traffic bypass Molong Street will be upgrade with traffic calming devices to discourage use by heavy traffic. The existing pavement has also reached the end of its economic life.Replacement of kerb and gutter and installation of kerb blister and road humps to reduce traffic speeds. Installation of pedestrian refuges. Reconstruction and stabilization of road pavement with final sealing of road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $1,553,411
Palesthan Road (rural road) - 113169-20NSW-RTR
Existing sealed pavement is narrow and has reached the end of its economic life.Widen formation to enable a 7.4 metre wide seal can be constructed - consistent with next 38 km of sealed road. Seal widened shoulders and reseal existing seal.
Ross Smith Avenue, Darwin - 113173-20NT-RTR
Ross Smith Avenue is a Primary Collector Road linking the Stuart Highway (Arterial Road) and Dick Ward Drive (Sub-Arterial Road) and has 11 recorded crashes in the previous five years. Furthermore, Ross Smith Avenue is of historical significance in being the landing site of Ross and Keith Smith in the air race from London to Australia and was also the runway for the Parap Airfield before civil operations moved to the current RAAF Base Darwin.The works will involve the profiling to a nominal 50mm depth of the existing asphalt surface, placement of an emulsion primerseal and place a 50mm thick asphalt layer utilising the Mix Type 5 (14mm aggregates with A15E Binder) Dense Graded Asphalt as specified in the Northern Territory Government’s Standard Specification for Roadworks. Line marking will be reinstated to its existing condition and where applicable, modified to improve traffic flow on the road. Traffic Control will also be within the scope of contract works.
Wattle Grove Drive, Wattle Grove - 113174-20NSW-RTR
Pavement showing sign of ageing, some sections failed and crackingReconstruction of existing pavement with full depth asphalt for entire length and deteriorated sections of kerb and gutter will also be reconstructed.
