Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Jayes Road (Rural Road) - 128995-24WA-RTR
Road shoulders, edge of seal, and road surface are wearing.Re-condition shoulders and drains, widen existing seal and renew existing road surface.
Koorda-Bullfinch Rd (Rural Road) - 128968-24WA-RTR
Shoulder widening to improve safety due to road being a heavy haulage route for significant mining activities.Widening of gravel shoulders.Total cost of proposed project is $304,091
Collins Road (Rural Road) - 128398-24WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route and it's surface is corrugated and potholed with vegetation on verges obscuring vision. Widening and improving surface rideability and drainage will provide a suitable and safe linkage for road users.Complete vegetation management in selected areas to improve sightlines, reform the subgrade and gravel re-sheet to a thickness of 100 mm with imported material to give a running width of 8 metres and an overall width of 10 metres.
Link Road, Cloncurry - 128866-24QLD-RTR
The current pavement on the Link Road is failing and requires rehabilitation to ensure the surface is safe for the heavy vehicles and general public travelling across this road.Rehabilitation of current pavement across the entire length of Link Road is proposed. Rehabilitation works will predominately include stabilisation between chainage 0 to 1.6 km followed by a reseal along the whole length between chainage 0 to chainage 6.5 km.
Tareela Lane, Burren Junction - 129003-24NSW-RTR
Road is impassable during wet weather and the area has prolonged wet areas that hinder access for residents and road users.3 km section of road within the floodplain was elevated by 600 mm and 8 x 450 mm steel pipes installed to improve water flow and maintain road accessibility during moderate flood levels.
Markwood-Tarrawingee Road, Milawa - 053382-14VIC-RTR
Bitumen surface is aged and severely cracked. That is the bitumen surface is failing, risking further failure to the road pavement.Repair surface failures and reseal road.Total cost of proposed project is $22,699
Marvel Loch - Forrestania Rd, Marvel Loch - 128969-24WA-RTR
The existing road surface is made up principally of loose sand and clay based material that is slippery when wet.In an effort to rectify this problem, it is proposed to carry out reconstruction of the existing road surface to upgrade to an eight metre bitumen prime seal standard. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road surface drainage along with water binding gravel road pavement and laying of a eight metre bitumen prime seal. Project Length - one point two kilometres. Additional funding sourced from allocated Municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $457,971
Marvel Loch - Forrestania Rd, Marval Loch - 128970-24WA-RTR
Bitumen second coat sealing works are required on the existing bitumen surface of Marvel Loch - Forrestania Road. This work is required as a second coat bitumen overlay seal on existing primer coat bitumen seal to extend the life of the road pavement.10 mm bitumen second coat sealing on existing bitumen primer coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $121,118
Southern Cross South Rd (Rural Road) - 128971-24WA-RTR
The existing road surface is made up principally of loose sand and clay based material that is slippery when wet.In an effort to rectify this problem it is proposed to carry out a gravel sheeting program on this road. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road & surface drainage in an effort to provide an all weather road.Total cost of proposed project is $425,292
Koolanooka South Road (Rural Road) - 128389-24WA-RTR
Koolanooka South Road provides a connection to the south of the shire and continues into the Shire of Perenjori, currently this section of road is constructed in natural materials and becomes extremely slippery when wet. Widening and improving surface rideability will provide a suitable and safe linkage for road users.Reform sub-grade and gravel re-sheet the road to a thickness of 100 mm with imported materials to provide an 8 metre running surface and an overall width of 10 metres.
