Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Unsealed road carriageway is losing shape, the gravel sheeting is becoming worn and thin and one of the sealed floodways has pavement and surfacing failures.Reform and resheet unsealed carriageway, reconstruct sealed floodway. The condition of the road surface has deteriorated due to lack of road base material.Re-sheeting road.

Renewal of road pavement surface that had reached the end of useful life.Resurfacing with 40 mm wearing course and 50 mm patching as required.Total cost of proposed project is $394,688
Hendersons Road - 053514-14VIC-RTR
Existing narrow 3.7m wide sealed road, carrying increased traffic volumes, requires additional pavement width and seal over a crest to improve, the safe operation of 2 way traffic.Increase existing seal width to 6.2m over a crest for approximately 140m.
Manmanning Road - 129815-24WA-RTR
Gravel is worn down to clay base which breaks up into bulldust and potholes in the dry and becomes slippery when wet.The gravel re-sheet process begins with clearing vegetation to the maintenance zone then building up the road formation using material sourced from existing drains and backslopes, which is then water-binded, balanced and compacted to ensure stability. Conduct gravel sheeting and define drainage, 175 mm loose compacted to 150 mm ensuring new layer is water-binded and compacted. A crossfall of 3-4% is established to facilitate proper drainage. Drainage is carefully defined to ensure proper water management and prevent erosion. Replace culverts with HDPE pipes and concrete headwalls at SLK’s 2.56, 3.02, 3.22 and 4.69.Total cost of proposed project is $249,666
