Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Dornoch Street - 066470-16NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by numerous cracks. It is very rough to ride on and noisy. It is also old, brittle and prone to further cracking and development of potholes.The proposed work includes repair of cracked areas and resurfacing of the road with hot mix asphalt. Length = 230 m; Width = 8.2 m; Area = 1886 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $90,232
Bridge Road - 066471-16NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by severe deformations, rutting and pavement failures. Multiple patches have made the road surface very rough.The proposed work includes replacement of substandard pavement materials with asphalt and resurfacing of the road with hot mix asphalt. Length = 175 m; Width = 12.2 m; Area = 2135 m2
George Street, Nhill - 066472-16VIC-RTR
Poor amenity to nearby residents and town entrance. Becomes very boggy and hard to traverse during the wet weather.Fully construct including drainage and new seal
Spurway Street - 066473-16NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by numerous cracks and pavement failures. It is rough and noisy. It is prone to further cracking, delamination of asphalt and potholes. Some sections of kerb and gutters are displaced and cracked.The proposed work includes replacement of damaged sections of kerb and gutters, sealing of cracks, repair of failed pavement failures and resurfacing of the road with hot mix asphalt. Length = 335 m; Width = 8.4 m; Area = 2814 m2.
McDonald Street, Dimboola - 066474-16VIC-RTR
A narrow and incomplete seal within close proximity to the CBD results in poor town amenity. Pedestrians, including children, share the road traversing from the southern end of Dimboola to the town's facilities creating safety concerns.Widen narrow sections of seal, re-construct and seal unsealed areas and install a footpath.
Lake Hindmarsh School Rd, Lake Hindmarsh - 066475-16VIC-RTR
A lot of the roads in this area, including Lake Hindmarsh School Road, are not paved meaning farmers have difficulty accessing paddocks all year round.Install a gravel pavement, including drainage, on Lake Hindmarsh School Road.
Main Road, Clayton South - 066476-16VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.Works involve roundabout and road reconstruction and will consist of approximately • 3550m² of excavation for road pavement, footpaths and vehicle crossings, • 3100m² of asphalt pavement reconstruction, • 1400m of concrete kerb & channel • 900m² concrete footpath paving • 500m² concrete vehicle crossings • 100m² Roundabout construction • 730m of drainage 225mm to 600mm Dia. Pipes • associated drainage pitsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,016,096
Bondi Road, Bonbeach - 066478-16VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures and asphalt re-sheet is required. Footpath is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing and major drainage upgrade is needed.Works involve the construction of 500 metres of street pipe drainage and associated pits, asphalt resheeting of road pavement, replacement of footpaths and reinstatement of nature strips. The works consist of approximately: • 2836m² of excavation of streetscape to boxing levels for proposed • 4710m² of 35mm depth asphalt wearing course • 1120m² of 50mm depth asphalt and crushed rock base courses • 84m of concrete kerb & channel type BK1 pipe • 1280 m² of 75mm depth concrete footpath • 423 m² of 125mm depth concrete footpath • 96m of 300mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 83m of 375mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 50m of 450mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 142m of 525mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 111m of 600mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 161m of 675mm dia concrete drainage pipe • Drainage pits • Associated worksTotal cost of proposed project is $631,495
Bundella Road (local road) - 066479-16NSW-RTR
The existing pavement is thin and potholes during wet weather events.Apply a 100mm compacted gravel pavement on the existing alignment.
Raymond Street, Holbrook - 066480-16NSW-RTR
Road is in poor condition with significant pavement failures and poor drainageReconstruction of road including installation of drainage west of major tourist infrastructure (Submarine Park)
