Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Buttermans Track, St Andrews - 066626-16VIC-RTR
Due to the road aligment, carriageway width and slope on Pindari Road, it is impossible for CFA fire fighting tankers to turn into Pindari Road, from Buttermans Track when approaching from the east. It is also impossible to turn from Pindari Road, right into Buttermans Track for the same reason.Realign the approach to the intersection in Pindari Road, extension of cross road culverts to increase road width at intersection and increasing the width of Buttermans Track to accommodate turning movements.
Cawarra Road, Caringbah - 066627-16NSW-RTR
Significant pavement failure. Further road pavements investigations being undertaken to confirm required treatment. Appears to be failure of the sub base and base course.Road pavement rehabilitation over approximately 2900 sqm. treatment type to be confirmed at works stage, but anticipated to include 250mm thick cement stabilised base course and 40mm thick of asphalt concrete (AC10) surface course
Murrumbidgee River Road (Rural Road) - 066628-16NSW-RTR
seal surface reached the end of its service lifethe proposed work is part of the reseal renewal program, the work will include edge break repairs, and sprayed seal existing surface. The work is required primarily to prevent further surface deterioration (e.g. potholing or stripping of aggregate from surface).
Sturt Road, Cronulla - 066629-16NSW-RTR
Significant surface cracking due to pavement base and sub base failureRoad rehabilitation works for a length of 400m and width of 10.5m. Proposed work will stabilise the base course with form bitumen and 50mm thick asphalt concrete wearing course (AC10).
Valkyrie Road (Rural Road), - 066631-16QLD-RTR
This road receives traffic from local properties, connecting traffic as well as being a significant school bus route. The current gravel/black soil road surface deteriorates during heavy rainfall and can be unsafe for road users and not trafficable for periods of time.Pavement overlay, cement stabilisation and bitumen seal two sections of unsealed roadway totalling 3.91km x 7m wide within the designated chainage area. This will increase the amount of bitumen seal on this roadway and allow for reliable use of this road.Total cost of proposed project is $1,923,898
Munro’s Road (Rural Road) - 066632-16NSW-RTR

Road is significantly cracked due to water infiltration. Require drainage upgrade including replacement of damaged kerb and guttersRoad regarding work over approximately 1500sqm and include mill and fill of 120mm of deep lift asphalt concrete. Works also include replacement of kerb and gutter and drainage upgrade.Total cost of proposed project is $490,000
Ravenscliffe road, Kirup. - 066634-16WA-RTR
The road formation has minimal gravel material and requires regular maintenance grading and repair works in order to rectify damage created from storms and increasing traffic volumes. The road surface deteriorates rapidly and safety concerns are reported regularly.Gravel sheeting, water binding, compaction and formation to improve the road surface and increase the useful life and condition. Address safety concerns and provide a desirable and safe road surface.
Seville Drive, Seville Grove - 066635-16WA-RTR
Road has extensive damages due to trees located on the medians. Kerbing is damaged in the median and requires replacement including medians. Road needs widening to allow for new medians installation. Road also needs profiling and resealing.Road widening, median installation, full profiling and resealing of existing road and minor repairs to road surface.
Ryall Road, Kirup. - 066636-16WA-RTR
The road formation currently has minimal gravel material and requires regular maintenance grading and repair works in order to rectify damage created through high levels of tourism use and storm damage. The road surface deteriorates rapidly and safety concerns are reported regularly.Gravel sheeting, water binding, compaction and formation to improve the existing road surface, increase the useful life and condition and reduce the ongoing maintenance and repair costs Address safety concerns and provide a safer higher quality road surface.
