Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Calvert Road (Rural – Tennant Creek) - 067354-16NT-RTR
This is the narrow 4.5 metres pavement dangerous to road trains using the road for cattle, fuel and general goods transport for stations. The widening of the pavement will reduce risk of an accident. The Calvert road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties, mining and aboriginal communities and is used as an alternative route to Queensland.Widen 17 kilometres of pavement 2 metres each side between chainage 122.48 to 131.48 kilometres.
Kurundi Road (Tennant Creek - Rural) - 067355-16NT-RTR
Kurundi Road is used to support pastoral proprieties, aboriginal communities and tourists within the Davenport parks. Pavement is out of shape with pavement cross falls and elevations. Road trains leaning to one side on these sections creates a dangerous situation to these trucks.Pavement correction, fill with materials and leveling.
Calvert Road (Rural Road - Tennant Creek) - 067356-16NT-RTR
The Calvert road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties, mining and aboriginal communities and is used as an alternative route to Queensland. Many creek crossings and floodways in the wet season are difficult to cross. A concrete floodway will improve accessibility.Construct 80 m x 8 m reinforced concrete floodway.
Aubreen Street - 067357-16NSW-RTR
Ageing road pavement is distressed with cracks, patches and pot holes due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Sutton Street, Warragul - 067358-16VIC-RTR
Pavement failures1. Excavate and dispose of approximately 350mm pavement from existing road. 2. Compaction of the subgrade as found to 98% (Standard). 3. Lower Subbase: 170mm depth compacted existing stabilised material with 3% slow setting cementitious binder. Compact to no less than 98% of modified compaction. 4. Upper Subbase: 150mm depth compacted 20mm Class 2 crushed rock, compacted to not less than 98% 5. Interlayer: SAMI seal (or similar) over prime 6. Wearing Course: 30mm, size 10mm, Type HP, Class A10E PMP Asphalt
Two Bays Road, Mount Eliza - 067359-16VIC-RTR
Two Bays Rd is an urban local arterial road. The proposed section of road is of low standard, with no kerb & channel. The section of road is also narrow and used as a popular bicycle network route.The road will be reconstructed and widened to better accommodate both vehicular and cyclist use. The works will also include formalising drainage with kerb & channel.Total cost of proposed project is $2,068,913
Arabella Street - 067360-16NSW-RTR
Deteriorated road surface.Mill and resheet 50mm of asphalt road surface.
Mooki Springs Road (local Road) - 067367-16NSW-RTR
The existing pavement is thin has washouts.Apply 100mm compacted gravel layer on the existing alignment.
Acacia Drive, Katherine - 067392-16NT-RTR
Existing luminaire light output is well below the P4 and P5 Australian Standards. The new luminaires will have an output of up to four times the existing luminaires.Replacement (supply) of street lighting equipment along the entire road network.
