This is the main street and the busiest street in Denham. Foreshore revitalisation projects in the vicinity have created increased pedestrian crossings at this point on Knight Terrace. As there are no traffic calming devices in this area this leads to pedestrian safety concerns which need to be addressed.Proposed works will be to remove the seal from this point on Knight Terrace, remove unsuitable base and sub base material and replace with suitable material. Install a watts plateau/Wombat crossing to create a slow point for traffic increasing pedestrian safety at this location. Upgrade footpaths adjacent to this section of road.
