Reinforcing steel in the concrete piles on the bridge are exposed from concrete flaking off and the steel stressing bars are rusting. One section of this road have no pavement material remaining and is back to natural surface. This becomes very slippery in the wet and often causes road closures.The work will involve the formation and resheeting of the targeted section on this road. Sheeting will be 150mm in depth. Side drains will need to be constructed.

Pavement badly out of shape due to water impeding through old bitumen seal, causing safety concerns with stakeholders.Remove Unsuitable gravel to a depth of 400mm, replace with suitable gravel, compacting in layers, stabilising base course, whilst providing a bitumen water proofing membrane.
This 2.2km section of Old Grassy Rd is the final section remaining to be sealed. Currently it is at it's base level and needs a full resheet. The resheet will leave the road in a good condition for when it will be sealed next financial year.A full resheet is proposed to be completed on the 2.2 km section of Old Grassy Rd.Total cost of proposed project is $81,227
