Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Girraween Road between Rogers Road and Mango Road GIRRAWEEN - 127138-24NT-BS

Shoulder widening, install roadside barriers, update pavement delineation, and install retro reflective pavement markers.

Install turning lanes, median island, kerb build-outs, mountable concrete turning paths, additional line marking, and signage.

Smith Street Harriet Place DARWIN - 127135-24NT-BS

Provide a through lane in both directions, a painted right-turn lane from Smith Street into Harriet Place and painted median islands on the approaches to the intersection, through the installation of signs and line markings only. Further, on-street parking and vegetation will be removed to improve sight lines.

Warrego Highway Upgrade Program

A program of 20 individual projects on the Warrego Highway between Toowoomba and Roma, which included: over 25km of pavement widening of narrow pavement seals currently less than nine metres wide and pavement strengthening works on rough and failing pavements up to 16.5km of duplication from two to four lanes, approximately 10km between Toowoomba and Oakey and approximately 6.5km at Dalby up to 14 additional overtaking lanes between Oakey and Miles replacement of a load-limited bridge structure at Jingi Jingi Creek intersection safety upgrades at high-crash locations and at open-level rail crossings

Packard Avenue Haultain Crescent DURACK - 126755-23NT-BS

Reconstruct the verges to narrow the road on both the eastern and western legs of the intersection. Increase the size of centre island within the roundabout

Reduce the lane width on Buscall Avenue from 5.4 metres to 3.5 metres with the installation of a landscaped median island

Solomon Road Nick's Crossing EVA VALLEY - 126753-23NT-BS

Widen approaching road surface twenty metres either side of bridge, clear vegetation and install linemarking, new signage and guideposts.
