Existing seal is approximately 3.6 m wide and has reached the end of its economic life. The narrow seal has significant edge break where heavy traffic has moved off edge of seal to avoid oncoming traffic.Road formation will be widened to 10 m and sealed to 7.5 m wide.
Distressed road has wide-spread potholes and extensive cracking together with damaged kerb and gutter.Propose to re-sheet the entire length of 0.42 km and the varying width of 8 to 12 m with extensive heavy patching including reconstruction of damaged kerb and gutter. Work is jointly funded by RTR and Inner West Council.Total cost of proposed project is $180,000
