Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. The structure requires maintenance as well as load rating. The structure is being supported by props as all bedlogs at both abutments are unstable.Remove bridge and replace with box culverts and floodway repair.Total cost of proposed project is $93,154

Brisk Street, Charters Towers - 054683-14QLD-RTR

Buchanan Creek floods Brisk Street during wet weather limiting access for local residents and to the School of Distance Education.To replace the existing concrete floodway with box culverts and seal the road surface of the approaches and the culverts.

The seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the 900m section to the existing width of 6m.

Louisa Road, Charters Towers - 054685-14QLD-RTR

The seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the 1.67km section to the existing width of 6m.

Aerodrome Road (Rural Road) - 054690-14VIC-RTR

The road pavement has deteriorated at several locations as indicated by signs of failures such as depressions, racking, shoving, etc. The aged bitumen spray seal requires renewal.Stabilise the deteriorated section of the pavement with a suitable stabilising agent and spray seal the entires road section.

King Street, Charters Towers - 054691-14QLD-RTR

The seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the 590m section to the existing width.

Fraser Street, ChartersTowers - 054692-14QLD-RTR

The seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the 390m section to the existing width.
