These work will involve replacing existing kerbs, driveway, traffic control and improving the drainage system. There is a narrow bridge at the work location over the Waroona Main Drain. The bridge is of insufficient width to cater for modern traffic and has long been a safety concern to road users.Replacement of the existing bridge with a precast box culvert structure which will allow an adequate and appropriate road width. Reconstruction of some 320 metres of Coronation Road to tie in with the new culvert structure.Total cost of proposed project is $1,269,000
Repeated washing out of two roadway creek crossings. The two locations noted suffer severe washouts during most wet seasons and the severity of the damage is directly related to the magnitude of the wet season.To improve this road's flood resilience by installing two concrete floodways. To date the damage has generally been repaired under the NDRRA program. So additional funding is sort to improve the asset to resist this repeated damage.Total cost of proposed project is $810,177
