Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. This project will rectify existing structural road defects. These defects include significant structural and environmental cracking, high Roughness, and rutting. The project will also rectify the existing kerb and gutter in poor condition.The work involves a deeplift asphalt treatment up to a depth of 125mm. The existing road will be milled up to a depth of 125mm and replaced with asphalt. The kerb and gutter is also being replaced.

This project will rectify existing structural road defects. These defects include significant structural and environmental cracking, high Roughness, and rutting. The project will also rectify the existing kerb and gutter in poor condition.The work involves a deeplift asphalt treatment up to a depth of 200mm. The existing road will be milled up to a depth of 200mm and replaced with asphalt. The kerb and gutter is also being replaced.

Road pavement has deformed and failed due to increasing traffic, particularly heavy vehicles.Reconstruction of road pavement and installation of kerb and channel.Total cost of proposed project is $397,000

Multiple Locations - Neilson Road (Rural Road) (Resealing)

The road pavement is being final sealed or resealed as per Council maintenance protocols.The entire section of pavement will be spray sealed and appropriate sized stone applied. In some instances emulsions or micro seals may be applied.

Existing bridge is in poor condition with a two tonne load limit which is inappropriate in a rural area.Replace bridge with concrete box culverts.
