Old asphalt seal is showing signs of distress (ie. longitudinal cracking, rutting and potholing)Profile existing failing asphalt surface and replace with new 40 millimetre thick size 10 millimetre aggregate Type N asphalt seal
Old asphalt seal is showing signs of distress (ie. longitudinal cracking, rutting and potholing)Profile existing failing asphalt surface and replace with 100 millimetre deep lift asphalt patch and a 40 millimetre asphalt overlay
Due to a high number of heavy vehicles using this intersection from the surrounding agricultural area, the pavement has begun to fail making the road unsafe.Design for full pavement reconstruction of the intersection to handle heavy vehicle traffic. Reconstruction of the intersection is proposed for the 2016/17 Roads to Recovery Programme.

Old pavement and seal has failed showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant patching, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of pavement and seal for a length of approximately 540 metres with a width of 6 metres including removal and replacement of unsuitable subgrade material. Includes installation of replacement drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $285,000
Old pavement and seal has failed showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant patching, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of pavement and seal for a length of approximately 380 metres with a width of 8 metres including removal and replacement of unsuitable subgrade material. Includes installation of approximately 150 metres of kerb and gutter and replacement drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $255,759
Insufficient gravel on shoulders of narrow seal creating potential safety issue due to edge drop and causing ongoing damage to the seal edge.Lay 50mm-100mm of gravel on shoulders and finish level with seal and associated drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $100,000
Currently Jabiru drive is accessed through a priority controlled intersection at Milroy Drive on Yeppoon Road. Jabiru Drive provides access to a number of industrial properties through. However, with large number of industrial vehicles entering and exiting Jabiru Drive on a daily basis, this intersection proved to be inefficient and unsafe for both local and industrial traffic. Council has future plans to connect Jabiru Drive to Yeppoon Road / Jordy Drive signalised intersection to mitigate these issues. Under this project, Stage 1 of a new Industrial Collector is constructed, from existing signalised intersection on Yeppoon Road to existing Jabiru Drive. This road provides safer and more efficient connection to the Jabiru Drive industrial area including the landfill site, whilst improving safety and efficiency of the adjacent road network.Construction of a new Industrial Collector road and connection to landfill site, to a length of 250m approximately.Total cost of proposed project is $636,676
Traffic safety issue arising from insufficient seal width causing vehicles to drop onto shoulders on corners and when interacting with other traffic.Widening gravel pavement from 6 metres to 8 metres and seal from 5 metres to 7 metres.
