Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Paddys River Road, Paddys River - 104589-19ACT-RTR
Road pavement failures and associated road support infrastructure upgradeRehabilitate road pavement failures, improve stormwater affecting road pavement layers, and new sealing as a wearing course
Main Street, Grenfell - 104609-19NSW-RTR
Stage 1 - design and tendering of the Main Street upgrade is to rectify road geometry. The street has excessive crossfall, which disallows council to implement disabled parking for the aging demographic of Grenfell.The project will comprise of the design and tendering of the following: - Decrowing the road - Earthworks - Re-aligning small Sections of kerb and guttering - Drainage Works - Road reconstruction - Primer-sealing with a 7/14 mm scatter coat - line markingTotal cost of proposed project is $2,500,000
Phil Aston Place, Grenfell - 104612-19NSW-RTR
Inadequate access for heavy vehicular access to industrial area lots. The current table drain has a low bed slope causing current accesses to become boggy after small amounts of rain.The works proposed for both sides of the road are: - Repair existing table drain scour damage - Place geo-fab material and gabion rock in bed of table drain to prevent scour damage - Place grass seed and jut mesh on the embankment of table drain to prevent scour damage
Driftway Road (Rural Road) - 104610-19NSW-RTR
This segment of road is situtated in gilgai country which is highly reactive. The road sub base has disappeared as it was constructed with natural soil in the area. Pot holes greater than 0.5 m in depth have been patched recently and the section is highly unsafe to the public.Council proposes to: - Excavate down approx 1.2m to expose unstable gilgai soil layer. - Proof roll a base layer for the sub base followed by placing a 0.6 m sub base layer - Place the final 0.2 m base layer - Primer-seal with a 7/14 mm scatter coat - Guidepost
Mildura Ivanhoe Road (Rural Road) - 104563-19NSW-RTR
Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The subgrade is unstable under heavy vehicles.To form and reshape the road. Then gravel construction 8m wide for a length of 1.0km. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Hatfield The Vale Road (Rural Road) - 104568-19NSW-RTR
Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The road level is below natural surface making it impassable in wet conditions. Road side drainage is none existent causing deep scouring along side of the road and certain places crossing the road.To form and build the road up to natural surface with natural material. Installation of drainage pipes, gravel construction 8m wide for a length of 2m. Bitumen spray seal and 10mm aggregate spread. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Haldanes Road (Rural Road) - 104606-19SA-RTR
Road surface has worn out, it is at the end of its Useful Life.Resheet this section of RoadTotal cost of proposed project is $99,467
Gibraltar Rocks Road (Rural Road) - Stage 2 - 104608-19NSW-RTR
Box culvert is beyond its service life and is closed off to traffic. Currently there is a side track in use instead. The new culvert will be rated to B-double rated vehicles.Stage 2 of the project comprises of: - Construction of base slab, - Install box cells and headwalls - Construct deck slab - Construct road to tie into new deck - Install guard rail over the length of bridge sized culvert - Remove side track - Seal road with primer-seal comprising of a 14mm / 7mm scatter coat
Goodes Lanes (Rural Road) - 104613-19NSW-RTR
This section of Goodes Lane consists of a 5.5m wide gravel pavement. The pavement has lost gravel nearly to the full depth exposing the sub base in many locations. It reduces safety to traffic especially to Higher Mass Limit vehicles including school buses.It is intended to re-sheet the pavement with 100 mm thick compacted gravel. This project will include grading the table drains, scarifying the existing pavement, adding gravel, shaping, compacting and trimming.
North Harcourt Road - Harcourt - 104625-19VIC-RTR
Poor road surface condition and defects causing a hazard to road users. Narrow road width with high cyclist numbers and traffic volume.Pavement rehabilitation and wideningTotal cost of proposed project is $600,000
