Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rawsonville Road, (rural road) - 133355-25NSW-RTR
Rawsonville Road currently has difficulty accommodating increased traffic loadings and is subsequently in poor condition. Rawsonville Road also has height issues contributing to poor drainage, ponding, and localised flooding. The road requires additional height to ensure adequate drainage.The proposed work includes strengthening the existing road pavement with 100mm gravel overlay, and a sealing with a two-coat seal. The length of the road being treated is 1.8km long and 6m wide.
Kulin Holt Rock Road (Rural Road) - 133371-25WA-RTR
Worn bitumen surface.To re seal over existing bitumen surface using Crumb Rubber bitumen with a 10 mm aggregate.
North Lake Grace Karlgarin Rd (Rural Road) - 133372-25WA-RTR
Narrow seal with edge breaks.Widening existing seal from 6.2 m out to 7.2 m.
Abernathy Rd, Forrestfield - 133373-25WA-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating and needs resurfacing.Asphalting of the road section.

Drainage repairs and improvement to road following damage from water erosionUpgrade drainage culvert and pavement repairs
Montrose Avenue, Apollo Bay - 133316-25VIC-RTR
The purpose of the project is to reconstruct Montrose Avenue and renew the road pavement to provide safe and trafficable road and continue investment into Colac Otway Shire Road Reconstruction Program. Benefits: The project has the following benefits: 1. Restore the road surface to a safe and trafficable condition. 2. Increase the level of service provided to the communityThe scope of works include the reconstruction of Montrose Avenue between McLachlan Street and Costin Street, to increase the width of existing pavement to 7.2m, improvement of existing subgrade using mechanical and chemical stabilisation, asphalt overlay and minor drainage works. The project is to include all necessary works to provide a fit for purpose industry road, with a design life of 20 years.
Pengilley Avenue, Apollo Bay - 133318-25VIC-RTR
The purpose of the project is to renew the road pavement to provide safe and trafficable road and continue investment into the Colac Otway Shire annual road reconstruction program. The project has the following benefits: 1. Restore the road surface to a safe and trafficable condition. 2. Increase the level of service provided to the communityThe reconstruction of Pengilley Avenue between Gallipoli Parade and Costin Street involves the replacement of the road pavement, replacing damaged section of the footpath near the Costin St intersection and replacing 1.8 m of kerb and channel. Replace selected SEP lids and the footpath bays. The project is to include all necessary works to provide a fit for purpose industry road, with a design life of 20 years.
Bogewong Road, Longreach - 133332-25QLD-RTR
Existing grids and approaches do not meet Longreach Regional Council Transport Safety Regulations.Removal of existing grids and installation of compliant grid structures, approaches and signage.
Tonkoro Road, Longreach - 133341-25QLD-RTR
Existing seal and pavement is rutting/potholing and is unsafe for road users. Premix patching where required and reseal.
Brooms Head Road (Rural Road) - 053942-14NSW-RTR
This section of Brooms Head Road was reconstructed in 2014 and was sealed up to the intial (primer) seal stage. The road requires a final seal to be applied to ensure the continued protection of the road pavement.The proposed work will apply the final seal to 460 metres of Brooms Head Road. The seal width is 8 metres wide.
