Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Pedestrians do not have enough time to safely cross the westbound lane.Moving the crossing point for pedestrians to the "desire" line i.e the path pedestrians currently take and using the existing splitter islands as refuge points.Total cost of proposed project is $21,926

The seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear over time.It is proposed to reseal the 630m length section from Gregory Developmental Road to the end at the existing width.

Granville Harbour Road - 061270-15TAS-RTR

Council staff have identified safety issues and high maintenance costs due to regular traffic movements and the increase in visitor/tourists in a variety of different vehicles (RV's, Caravans, Buses). the length of the road is 9.1 kilometres. Several sections including corners, crests and hair-pin corners have been identified for reconstruction, rehabilitation, realignment, storm-water drainage and widening.Road widening, corner realignment, table drains and culvert construction, re-sheeting, grading sections of road two coat bitumen seal and road signage and guide posts.

Old Narrandera Road Malebo Hill (Rural Road) - 061271-15NSW-RTR

There is a very steep drop off from the southern side of Old Narrandera Road on the west bound climb over Malebo Hill. The likelihood of a driver running wide on the curve ,running off the seal and losing control is high.Installation of a wire rope barrier treatment for 300 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $26,063
