Bicentennial Road (rural road) - 131772-24SA-RTR
Road is deteriorating with surface defects creating a hazard to the road user as it is nearing its end of life.Road will be re-sheeted with 100 mm of crushed limestone rubble which will return it to an as new standard. Portland Road, Lockhart River - 131776-24QLD-RTR
During large storm events, high flows could result in loss of seal, road embankment and downstream batters constructed either side of Culvert 117 as a result of flows overtopping the embankment.Construction of a 350mm x 800mm deep reinforced concrete cut of wall on the downstream hinge point of the embankment above Culvert 117 with associated dumped rock embankment protection. Ch 4203 – Ch 4283 (80m), as detailed on plan 7994-051 rev D LRCI is funding the balance of this project.Total cost of proposed project is $232,284
Park Avenue, Walpole - 131789-24WA-RTR
The existing road surface is old, very uneven and cracking exists in a number of locations. A section of kerbing is in a poor state of repair and requires replacement.Remove the failed kerbing, place asphalt corrector in sections of the road to form an evenly graded running surface then place a 25 mm asphalt overlay; replace the removed kerbing.
Donnelly Road (rural road) - 131790-24WA-RTR
The existing spray seal surface is very old with pot holes and edge breaks widespread and forming regularly.Place a sprayed reseal over the existing surface.
Little River Road (rural road) - 131791-24VIC-RTR
Road landslip with failure of drainage culvert and existing gabion wallThe landslip remediation works include the removal of the existing gabion wall (rock to be reused), benching, installing rock fill and reconstructing the road pavement East Gippsland Shire Council to contribute $100,000 to this projectTotal cost of proposed project is $400,000
Cormorant Grove, Metung - 131792-24VIC-RTR
No road existing to service and access to four lots of properties. Properties can be developed, and properties have access after road construction is completed. Construction of a new 5.5-metre wide, 40-metre long pavement road with concrete kerb and underground drainage.
Cudal Place, Armadale - 131806-24WA-RTR
Replace the surface of road sections that have reached the end of their useful life. Mill out existing defective surface and apply asphalt resurfacing, replace kerb. Additional funding by City of Armadale.
