Strengthening of downhill embankment and clearing and improvement of drainage on uphill side of formationWidening and rock lining of uphill table drain. Installation of gabion type structures to reinstate road should and prevent further loss of pavement width
Existing infrastructure is in poor condition with poor pavement strength, non compliant road crossfalls, steep footpath crossfalls that are not disabled accessible and have a history of causing pedestrian trips and falls through the poor condition of the footpaths. Existing traffic facilities have a known crash history including a fatality, and are being upgraded as part of the overall renewal works.Works include road and footpath pavement renewals, kerb replacements, traffic facilities, street lighting upgrades and associated works. Works are targeted to improve road safety, reduce pedestrian crashes, widen footpaths within the Camden CBD to support the town centre and undertake asset renewal.Total cost of proposed project is $5,950,000
Road and intersection badly planned and constructed many years ago causing vehicle accidents and near missesRoad widening, relocation of services, underground storm water extension and relocation of roundabout

Road pavement is at the end of its life breaking up significantly with large pot holes.Stabilise with reclaimer to meet new pavement depth of 200mm resheet with fine crushed gravel and 2% of lime and reseal with a two coat seal.
The approaches to the Running River bridge on Ewan Road require reconstruction due to abutment failure and subsequent abutment replacement. It is proposed to reconstruct both approaches with stabilised gravel.
Caroona Road is in extremely poor standard with a rough driving surface including significant shape failures.
Increase usage has caused vehicles to damage the existing sealed pavement and vehicles have been running off road due to narrow road width.Widen the sealed roadway to 8.0m (approx. 1.2m either side) and provide constructed shoulders to up to 2.0 metres.
Included in this work will be an Asphalt overlay of the existing roadway, including crack sealing and edge treatment under the new asphalt layer.Total cost of proposed project is $687,000
Due the amount of crush rock available, only a thin layer was used for the road base and due to storm weather and increased traffic use, the road has eroded. There is also no drainage.Re-sheeting the road with a thicker layer of crush rock and making road drains off the sides for water drainage. (This work includes the hire of machinery).
