Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Existing road surface is uneven with failures requiring reconstruction. Existing kerb and gutter is uneven with surface water pooling for extended periods of time.Reconstruction of the exiting road including strengthening the existing sub-base through stabilization, constructing a new base course pavement, sealing the road, reconstructing the kerb and gutter to fall to the underground stormwater system and installation of additional underground stormwater to assist with road drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $848,609
Macauley Street, Deniliquin - 103987-19NSW-RTR
Existing road shoulders are uneven with failures requiring reconstruction. Existing kerb and gutter is uneven with surface water pooling for extended periods of time.Reconstruct the road shoulder on either side of Macauley Street including strengthening the existing sub-base through stabilisation and constructing a new base course pavement. Resealing the entire width of Macauley Street, including the reconstructed shoulders and existing travel lanes. Reconstruct the existing kerb and gutter along both sides of Macauley Street.Total cost of proposed project is $216,582
Wilkinson Street, Tootgarook - 103980-19VIC-RTR
The existing pavement frequently suffers from water pooling and potholing issues. The water pooling issues are exacerbate the deterioration of the pavement and the pavements substructure. There is also a significant amount of edge breaking due to the narrow pavement width. Includes the construction of a roundabout at Wilkinson Street and Carmichael Streetinstallation of kerb and channel, including drainage improvements, asphalting, new roundabout construction and some minor road widening.
Carmichael Street, Tootgarook, - 103990-19VIC-RTR

Burke Street, Maryborough - 103982-19VIC-RTR
Burke Street pavement and bitumen surface 240 metres long and 11 metres wide have reached end of life and required renewal. The associated kerb and channel, 280 metres long, and footpath 480 metres long, are also at the end of life and are adjacent to a primary school requiring a higher standard for heavy footpath and traffic use during school times.The existing pavement of Burke Street will be reconstructed with a 350 mm deep pavement and asphalt surface, 240 metres long and 11 metres wide, new kerb and channel 480 metres long and footpaths 480 metres long, on both sides, with a school crossing to current disability access standards and line marking for bus and vehicle parking.Total cost of proposed project is $462,000
The Dowling Track (Rural Road) - 104014-19NSW-RTR
This area is a red sandhill and is impossible to compact without mixing with a gravel source. It poses great safety issues and damage to vehicles in dry weather. The program has now been decided to be combined with the Regional Road Repair Program ($800,000) to seal this section. Seal surface with a 14 millimetre aggregate bottom coat and finish with a seven millimetre aggregate for second coat. A C170 bitumen will be usedImport a gravel material and mix in with the existing pavement to stabilise the pavement to improve surface. This area is waiting on funding from RMS to seal under the Regional Road Repair Program. Form up existing material and combine with imported gravel to form subbase of road. Import 200 millimetres depth of gravel to a nine metre formation water roll and compact to specification. Seal withTotal cost of proposed project is $2,251,915
Ridley Road, Herbert - 104036-19NT-RTR
The shoulders have a large drop off either side of the bitumen. We are toping up to level then sealing to keep the shoulders intact.Grade, Water, roll & top up shoulder level with the bitumen seal, then seal the shoulders. This will widen the road & save the shoulders.
