Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Cornish Crescent, Manning - 104212-19WA-RTR
Pavement cracking, patch failure, depression and defects; Cracked and non-uniform kerb types; Damaged drainage pit; and Cracked and not up to standard kerb ramps.It is proposed to mill out most of the existing road surface by 35mm, lay 20mm low void black Stone Mastic asphalt then 25mm Dense Graded Asphalt to improve road pavement conditions. Mill and lay red asphalt on the thresholds of Cornish Crescent. Reinstall and upgrade kerbing. Upgrade kerb ramps to the current standard. Upgrade a damaged drainage pit and Reinstall pavement marking.

Crawford Road, Doonside - 104217-19NSW-RTR
This intersection is unsafe and poses a risk to road users. This intersection requires improvement to enhance public safety.Design and construction of a roundabout to reduce accidents and improve safe operation of the intersection. Project also includes street lighting.
Pine Ave, Victor Harbor - 104226-19SA-RTR
The road has extensive cracking patching and depressions. The concrete kerb & gutter has cracking and is misaligned in a number of places. Existing public lighting is not compliant with current standards. There is no existing footpath.Reconstruct the road pavement and provide 40mm asphaltic concrete wearing surface. New concrete kerb & gutter. Upgrade public lighting to meet current standards by installing new LED luminaires. Install a new paved footpath on the western side of the road.
Barwon Park Road (Inverleigh) - 104140-19VIC-RTR
The bridge is showing signs of structural distress in spans 1 and 3. This is displayed by structural cracking longitudinally along the U-slab units near the junction of the legs and the deck elements of each individual unit. It is estimated from observations that 40% of the existing U-slabs in both spans 1 & 3 are exhibiting these issues.Deck replacement and construction of a retaining wall to improve retention of approach fill and issues with scouring. The existing and non-conforming bridge barrier will be removed and upgraded to a VicRoads approved medium performance bridge barrier with approach railing consisting of w-beam barrier to the bridge railing.Total cost of proposed project is $653,287
Russells Bridge Road (Rural Road) - 104148-19VIC-RTR
Significant amount of corrosion in the steel girders, deck and railing components was identified whilst undertaking the level 2 inspection in September 2018. Furthermore the significant movement was identified in the abutment with cracking up 100mm observed. Structure also exhibited concrete spalling to all pier bracing members.To facilitate this replacement - survey, geo-technical investigation, hydraulic analysis and detail design is required to be undertaken in preparation for competitive tendering.
Maude-She Oaks Road (rural road) - 104141-19VIC-RTR
Existing narrow sealed road being utilised by Chelvon quarry vehicles, heading towards Ballarat transporting sand for the use in concrete. The road is deteriorating mainly pavement failure and edge breaks of the sealed surface.Reconstruction of the failed pavement areas and shoulder sealing to accommodate the larger heavy vehicles.Total cost of proposed project is $1,485,417
Geggies Road (Rokewood) - 104142-19VIC-RTR
2.5 tonne load limited bridge, due to significant steel reinforcement spalling in the bridge deck - requires replacement.To facilitate this replacement - survey, geo-technical investigation, hydraulic analysis and detail design is required to be undertaken in preparation for competitive tendering.
Slate Quarry Road (Rural Road) - 104147-19VIC-RTR
20 tonne load limited bridge requires replacement. A level 2 inspection of the structure was completed in September 2018 identifying spalling to the majority of the pier bracing members across the structure, significant corrosion to steel components including railing, girders/stringers and deck.To facilitate this replacement - survey, geo-technical investigation, hydraulic analysis and detail design is required to be undertaken in preparation for competitive tendering.
Earngley Lane, Edgecliff - 103739-19NSW-RTR
The road pavement at this location is 80% rutted and cracked.It is proposed to excavate the road and re-surface.Total cost of proposed project is $29,300
