Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Drive In Court, Maryborough - 093235-17VIC-RTR
Drive In Court, 371 metres long is an Urban Industrial Access road where the existing asphalted road pavement, which is 9 metres wide between kerbs has failed. The road surface is cracked and the pavement has rutted and heaved and has deteriorated.The existing pavement is to be stabilised and strengthened to 200mm deep and 9 metres wide, totalling 3,339 square metres and resurfaced with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $178,000
Majorca Road, Maryborough - 093236-17VIC-RTR
Majorca Road is an Urban Link road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 470 metres long by 11 metres wide between kerbs, with an 11 metre wide seal has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated along with the shoulders of the road.The existing pavement is to be removed between the existing kerbs, the existing sub-base to be stabilised to 200mm deep and a new 300mm deep crushed road pavement base placed covered with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt road surface to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Some new kerb is required along an outer separator.Total cost of proposed project is $5,390,000
Luke Court, Maryborough - 093237-17VIC-RTR
Luke Court is an Urban Access Road Court where the existing pattern paved concrete road 60 metres long and 3.5 metres wide with an existing three point turn around is not capable of accommodating a garbage truck and the road shoulders have deteriorated causing access and maintenance problems.The existing concrete pavement is to be removed and replaced with a 300 mm deep pavement widened to 6 metres width with new kerb and channel both sides and an 18 metres diameter turn around area at the end with a 40mm deep asphalt surface.Total cost of proposed project is $121,000
Baringhup Road, Carisbrook - 093238-17VIC-RTR
Baringhup Road is a Rural Link road where the existing road 747 metres length of 7 metres wide pavement and 6.4 metres wide seal where the pavement and seal are deteriorated due to the rural and heavy vehicle use and is approaching the end of its life. The pavement, seal and shoulders constantly requires maintenance.The existing road pavement sub-base 7 metres wide is to be stabilised and strengthened to 200 mm depth and a 150mm overlay base placed widened to 9.7 metres width and bitumen sealed to 6.6 metres wide.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000
Inkerman Street, Maryborough - 093239-17VIC-RTR
Inkerman Street is an Urban Link road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 233 metres long by 11.7 metres wide between kerbs, with an 11.7 metre wide seal has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated along with the shoulders of the road.The existing pavement base is to be stabilised to 200mm deep between the existing kerbs and surfaced with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt road surface to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment.Total cost of proposed project is $151,000
Stuart Mill Road, Dunolly - 093240-17VIC-RTR
Stuart Mill Road is an is a Rural Collector road, seal width 6 metres which intersects with Dunolly Archadale Road seal width 4 metres, at an acute angle. The layout of the intersection has poor sight distance and is a traffic hazard for trucks and rural farm equipment entering Stuart Mill Road from Dunolly Archadale Road.The existing pavement of the Dunolly Archdale Road approach 56 metres long is to be reconstructed to square the intersection angle with the Stuart Mill Road with a 300 mm deep 6 metres wide seal. The Stuart Mill Road Pavement 9.2 metres wide will be lifted with a 150mmm overlay and sealed to 6.6 metres wide for a length of 190 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $85,890
Railway Street, Maryborough - 093241-17VIC-RTR
Railway Street is an Urban Collector road, seal width 11 metres which intersects with Gillies Street an Urban Link road, seal width 8 metres, at an acute angle. The layout of the intersection and the vertical geometry has poor sight distance and is a traffic hazard for residential traffic entering Gillies Street from Railway Street.The end of Railway Street is to be closed to create an 18 metre diameter turn around area allowing no traffic to or from Gillies Street to make the intersection safe. 150 metres of kerb and channel and 3 metre width of sealed road shoulder will be constructed in Gillies Street and 70 metres of kerb and channel and 300 square metres of asphalted pavement will be constructed in Railway Street.Total cost of proposed project is $230,000
