Severe pavement undulation and failure, longitudinal cracks, kerb and gutter damage, base and sub base failure.Full reconstruction of road, upgrading of sub base and base materials, new kerb and gutter and asphalt seal
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements will be incorporated into this project.Works involve the reconstruction of Rosella Road, including new kerb and channel and reconstruction of the existing asphalt road pavement.
The works consist of approximately:
• 664m of kerb and channel
• 2377m2 of pavement reconstruction
• 300m stormwater drainage
• 19 drainage pits
• 810m2 of residential footpath
• 810m2 of residential vehicle crossings
• Signs & Line marking
• Associated worksTotal cost of proposed project is $540,023
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.Works involve road reconstruction and shared path construction, and consist of:
• 3000m² of excavation for road pavement, footpaths and vehicle crossings,
• 1650m² of asphalt pavement reconstruction,
• 475m of concrete kerb & channel
• 650m² concrete footpath paving
• 160m² concrete vehicle crossings
• 300m of drainage 225mm to 450mm Dia. Pipes
• associated drainage pitsTotal cost of proposed project is $527,319
Wear and tear on the road surface, the narrowness of the road, limited sight lines and steep drop offs, and drainage issues.Works will be drainage reconstruction and renewal, widening of the existing road, corner works to allow clear sight lines, installation of barriers to negate drop offs, and the resealing of the remaining road and new road works.
Storm water side entry pits are damaged and dislodged rendering them unsafe to pedestrians and motoristsRemove and/or repair and replace current pitsTotal cost of proposed project is $64,000
There is evidence of dead binder and cracking of current seal. Edge breaks are occurring in various locations along section.Road will be resealed using 10mm treatment with S20E binder.
Previous Edge widening incompatible with original road profile rendering waterproofing issues and persistent potholing problems along the joinMatt out deficient areas and reseal in select areas. Re-line mark full length
This section of road is badly deformed, has poor drainage, is narrow and dangerous to the travelling
public.Rehabilitation and widening of the existing pavement to a formation width of 10m and 8m seal with minor kerb & gutter construction. Improvement to drainage and some adjustment of utilities is also required.Total cost of proposed project is $781,446
