Failing floodway due to poor historic designCement stabilising of floodway and upgraded headwalls to design levels
Significant cracking in pavement resulting in poor trafficable surface for tourists and other visitorsReseal using 10mm aggregate
significant cracking to pavement resulting in poor trafficable surfaceReseal damaged pavement with 14mm aggregate
Salt affected that has diminished over years and requires upgrading to reduce maintenance costsreseal of section from Danberrin to McGlinn Road with 10mm aggregateTotal cost of proposed project is $87,700
Poor town amenity due to ageing bitumenReseal with 10mm aggregate
Rutting on the outside edge of the pavement shoulders holding water during rain events creating dangerous conditions for drivers. Water intrusion into pavement weakening the structural integrity of the pavement and existing culverts had joint displacement creating depressions in the pavementReplace stormwater pipes crossing the road, excavate road shoulder material and stitch and stabilise the works into the existing pavement to improve the load capacity of the shoulders. Correct shape of the curve in the middle of the project to meet current standards, provide a new bitumen seal and line mark.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
pavement is damaged, seal is worn, surface drainage is poor, kerbing is damaged, extensive pre-seal repairs including patching, pavement repairs, replace damaged kerbing, followed by re-seal
Pavement at the end of its serviceable life and showing significant signs of deformation and failure due to high levels of vehicle traffic daily. Curves throughout the project did not meet geometric standardsConstruct new table drains on the northern side of the road to prevent water instrusion into the pavement and to reduce the number of times water overtops the road during rain events. Raise headwalls to match the new road surface heights and extend culverts to cater for the shoulder widening. Widen shoulders for uniform width, curve geometric widening and shift through the entire length of the project. Overlay existing pavement with roadbase and mix and stablise and provide a new bitumen seal.
Extensive cracking and potholes. Road due for reseal to protect the underlying pavement.Supply, delivery and construction/laying of asphaltic concrete.Total cost of proposed project is $84,759
