Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Eumundi Range Road, Eumundi - 061032-15QLD-RTR

The proposed section has the following defects: heavily stripped, oxidised & weathered. Major surface failure and minor pavement failure present (for example, potholes and patches).Repair pavement failures and re-grade road shoulders. Chip seal overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $243,599

Esplanade Headland, Kings Beach - 061033-15QLD-RTR

The proposed section has the following defects: extensive ravelling, oxidation and weathering of the asphalt surface and cracking in some areas. The surface has moderate failures (for example, potholes and patches).Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using size 10mm nominal aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $178,947

Oval Avenue, Caloundra - 061034-15QLD-RTR

The proposed section has the following defects: extensive ravelling, oxidation and weathering of the asphalt surface and cracking in some areas. The surface has moderate failures (for example, potholes and patches).Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 30mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using size 10mm nominal aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $133,100

Euston Prungle Road (Rural Road) - 061040-15NSW-RTR

Gravel road wearing due to increase of traffic and heavy vehicles carting grain. Alternative access to Mungo National Park.Gravel construction 8m wide and a 7m wide seal for a length of 2.75km. This will include removal of overgrowth bushes along the sides of the road and grade to form table drains for drainage flow.Total cost of proposed project is $515,264

Silo Road [Pinnaroo] - 061041-15SA-RTR

Road surface has deteriorated due to material failure over a period of timeReseal 1.18km using 14mm and 7mm aggregate and spray seal to a width of 7 metres

Monger Street (Rural Road) - 061042-15WA-RTR

Existing bitumen surface condition is aged with extensive cracking. A reseal is required to preserve this pavement.Carry out crack patching repairs to the surface prior to resealing with a 14mm single coat cutback bitumen seal

Railway Terrace South Pinnaroo - 061043-15SA-RTR

Road surface has deteriorated due to material failure over a period of timeReseal using 14mm and 7mm aggregate and spray seal for a width of 10 metres

Kulkami Road [Rural Road] - 061044-15SA-RTR

Road surface has deteriorated due to material failure over a period of timeReseal 5 km using 10mm aggregate and spray seal for a width of 6.2 metres.

Hymas Street (Rural Road) - 061045-15WA-RTR

There is currently no road at this location and Council intend to construct a new road.Construction of new 10.00 meter wide carriageway pavement with a 7.0 meter wide seal width, by importing new gravel material, water binding , spreading and compacting this material and finishing it to accept a new 2 coat emulsion primerseal for the entire 350 meter section. Surveying and drainage works will also be required for this project.

South Terrace Pinnaroo - 061047-15SA-RTR

Road surface has deteriorated due to material failure over a period of timeReseal 1km using 10mm aggregate and spray seal varying widths from 5.6metres to 9.2metres over the 1km.
