There is currently no road at this location and Council intends to construct a new road.Construct a new 10.00 meter wide carriageway pavement with a 7.00 meter wide seal width by importing new gravel material, water binding, spreading and compacting this material and finishing it to accept a new 2 coat emulsion primerseal for the entire 154 meter section. Surveying and drainage works with also be required for this project.

The pavement is heavily oxidised and displays significant crocodile cracking. The crocodile cracking is an indication that the pavement is deflecting excessively. Extensive sections of the kerb and gutter have overturned with some sections being replaced. Long asphalt patches along the lip line have been placed where the existing pavement has failed significantly. The cracked pavement and kerb and gutter will allow excessive moisture to enter the pavement and promote premature failure.Full reconstruction of the pavement including replacement of significant sections of kerb and gutter.
