Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Road surface has deteriorated due to material failure over a period of timeReseal 730 metres using 10mm aggregate and spray seal for a width of 6.5 metres

Askew Street (Rural Road) - 061049-15WA-RTR

There is currently no road at this location and Council intends to construct a new road.Construct a new 10.00 meter wide carriageway pavement with a 7.00 meter wide seal width by importing new gravel material, water binding, spreading and compacting this material and finishing it to accept a new 2 coat emulsion primerseal for the entire 154 meter section. Surveying and drainage works with also be required for this project.

MacLachlans Lane, Curlwaa (Local Road) - 061050-15NSW-RTR

Gravel surface is worn, rough and unpredictable making it unsafe. Inadequate depth of gravel remaining on road leading to poor road conditions following rain events.Reshape formation to 8m road width (where possible), construct 150mm gravel overlay, clear and reshape table drains on either side of roadway to provide adequate drainage.

Weimby Kyalite Road (Rural Road) - 061053-15NSW-RTR

Sealed road surface reaching end of life. Reseal road to maintain wearing surface and prevent water ingress and damage to pavement.Reseal the road using a bituminous spray seal and 10mm aggregate spread at a length of 1.10km.

Tuckers Lane, Curlwaa - 061054-15NSW-RTR

Balbeek Avenue, Blacktown - 061058-15NSW-RTR

The pavement is heavily oxidised and displays significant crocodile cracking. The crocodile cracking is an indication that the pavement is deflecting excessively. Extensive sections of the kerb and gutter have overturned with some sections being replaced. Long asphalt patches along the lip line have been placed where the existing pavement has failed significantly. The cracked pavement and kerb and gutter will allow excessive moisture to enter the pavement and promote premature failure.Full reconstruction of the pavement including replacement of significant sections of kerb and gutter.
