Sugar Gum Boulevard, Tree Top Terrace and Mackelroy Road form a short cut between Plenty River Drive and Yan Yean Road. This is a short cut taken by parents collecting children at school pick up and drop off times. This is part of a bus route. Need to address excessive traffic speed and traffic volume taking a short cut along roads used by school children travelling to and from two nearby schools.Installation of 4 Bus Friendly Road Humps to reduce traffic speed and deter vehicles from taking a short cut through local streets.
Level 3 Bridge Inspection indicated severe structural problems. The report indicated that Department of Transport and Main Roads defines a structure as defective when greater than 25% of principal components such as girders, piers etc, are rated as condition state 4 in a single abutment, pier or span group.
