The asphalt in the existing surface layer is oxidising due to the ageing process. A section of the kerb & gutter has sunken.Mill the existing surface layer and relay 30mm thick asphaltic concrete (AC10) layer. Remove and reconstruct sunken kerb & gutter section to the correct levels.
Existing bitumen seal shows signs of fatigue and deterioration.Undertake preparatory works to repair pavement as necessary and seal the existing (repaired) pavement with a polymer modified binder.
